The hotel was clean beautiful and wonderful staff. My husband and I went to dinner and the parking spot we had across the street was taken and there were no more spots, because there was a wedding at the hotel. We had to park in the other lot which was quite a hike. That is my only negative, the parking. Otherwise love the hotel.

I made my reservation based on past experience at the Julien. I asked for an Executive Room with a bathtub, and it was especially important to have accessible grab bars. The room I received was very small with only a shower...no tub, and no accessible bars. I called the front desk and was told because I made my reservation through Hotels.com they couldn't provide my requested accommodations. There was no microwave, the curtain wouldn't completely close, a leg on the desk was broken, and the desk chair was in bad shaped and dirty. There was no lighting where the coffee pot was located. When we visited the pool area, the patio door did not work, and outside on the patio area, the wall is crumbling. The glass in the workout area was filthy. I was very disappointed! We tried to eat at Caroline's twice and were turned away because of their odd hours. This had always been one of my favorite hotels, but I will NOT return.

It's a beautiful historic hotel. There was minimal traffic in the area when we were there on week days. We enjoyed the river walk.

The hotel is lovely in appearance and has the feel of a vintage hotel. However there are limitations. Upon check in the staff was not particularly welcoming. Didn’t tell us about amenities or the restaurant until we asked. Our room was extremely hot and took a while to reach a comfortable temperature. Our suite was very spacious and bright. Carpet behind sofa had crumbs or food on it. No control over temperature in the room so was challenging to find a comfortable temperature. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work. The gym equipment was antiquated. The location is great and close to a lot of great restaurants and shops.

Great overnight stay!
Great stay as always. Our room this time was a little awkward having tight quarters with the bathroom very close to the bed with double doors which was a little different. Shower was very nice. It was a comfirtable bed. Quiet as always. Love the provided robes. Pool and hot tub were both enjoyable. Very clean facilities. Had a drink in the bar which was good. A great night stay! Front desk was friendly and helpful.

We like the Julien, but we’re disappointed that the shower was lukewarm and the coffee was not replenished after the first day. For the rates they charge, these little things are important and should not be neglected!
