A bed so soft and bouncy you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. Spacious rooms. Soft and large towels. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Amazing bar sandwiches. Super friendly staff. If you’ve got an event in Manchester or going to the airport it’s the ideal location out of the city. Knutsford town is a cab drive away and beautiful

Nice old place, very pleasant, good food helpful friendly staff I was supposed to be in the best feature room and paid £146 for the night for the privilege another £50. It was not the best room at all. Roof and equipment view and plant noise and well worn bit grubby with a negative used smell to it. No AC broken window catches, in need of update.

Overall not bad but the mattress needed changing in the 1940,s. It was completely flat. Very uncomfortable sleep and woke with a bad back and numb hips.

First of all we were a bridal party the lodge was initially tidy but as for cleaning is another matter as we set out to make an evening meal for ourselves we needed the oven to work which it didn’t also there were cobwebs in the pan cupboard and the windows were dirty outside we had Christopher the night manager who was excellent in solving our problem he is an asset to this place you can be assure if you have a problem he’s the best man to solve it thank you Christopher from the brides mum, the venue was exceptional in every way thats from relatives who had rooms and the breakfasts in all its a beautiful place to go, so thank you to the staff who were lovely

Good stay, well rested and well fed
The room although not large was good. It was nice a peaceful and well supplied. The evening meal had a good menu and the food and service were top notch. The breakfast was fresh and the welcome set-up the day nicely I look forward to my return visit later this year.

Check in time 3pm but strictly applied. I had meeting cancelled so got there early and although it turned out they had a signalling system to alert that the room allocated was ready - no way! There is no reason not to give the key out if the room is serviced apart from any internal organisation thing. I, like most people, dislike it intensely when companies put the customer last! The hotel is ok and the room was ok.
