Great stay
Excellent location. Only issue was lack of food available on the second evening due to staff shortages. ( not really what you want to hear when you are hungry). The bathroom was lovely, however it was a little high to climb into the shower, bath and someone who was suffering with a bad a leg found it hard going, also getting out of the bath/shower there was no hand rail to support.

Lovely location. Staff were really helpful and polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Lixal produce. It was a little difficult to find the Bunkers rooms. Had a sign forcthe restaurant but not the accommodation. Overall experience was great.

Well what can I say. Second visit to this fabulous hotel and again I can’t fault it. From the moment you walk in the grand front door, checking in and going to your room it is a delight. Lovely restored old property sympathetically completed without spoiling the grandness. Large bedrooms continue with the grandness. Breakfast, choices extend to salmon dishes with poached eggs etc, alongside the usual buffet style hot options and cereals etc. Looking forward to returning to this magnificent hotel and its grounds.

A short stay lovely hotel, could not fault anything. Room very nice , food and the service delivered with a smile. The diner was expensive and the wine in particular. Breakfast was excellent. There is also a lovely and very friendly pub within walking distance which is an added bonus , again the landlady was chatty and welcoming . The food highly recommended.

Stunning hotel with 5* service.
Lovely hotel. Although there was building work being done externally it didn't take anything away from the hotel. The approach is stunning, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food good quality. The portions at Bunkers were massive, very good value. Would definitely return and reccomend
