Cupar Burgh Chambers has two bedrooms each with ensuite: Bedroom, 1 large Kingsize Bed, Bedroom 2, can be set up as a Super king or two singles, this has a large bay window. There is an additional single bed which can be set up in either bedroom. There is also a sofa Bed is available in the living room area, travel cot is available for either room (taking occupancy up to 8)
Entry into the apartment is street level, where directly a staircase will lead to the first floor. On the first floor there is a magnificent living/dining area with a large bay window, and large round wooden dining table. A modern kitchenette is in the main living space and has all the amenities required for your stay including a fridge, freezer, dish washer, kettle, toaster, microwave, cookware/baking equipment have also been supplied. There is a SMART TV within this area and a cupboard with a selection of games, puzzles, books and DVDs to keep everyone entertained.
Back into the hallway there are several small staircases broken up by original landings all leading up to the second floor. The second floor is host to the two bedrooms. Please note the only bathroom/ toilets within the property are located in the ensuites.
Every piece of furniture purchased for Cupar Burgh Chambers has been carefully thought through, and Fife Historic Buildings Trust were helped by a recognised expert in Scottish furniture, who advised on key pieces appropriate to the Georgian period, some originally made in Cupar.

Fife Historic Buildings Trust completed the restoration of the Cupar Burgh Chambers in 2018. By converting this long vacant and at risk Grade B listed building, an important local landmark has been saved and given a new lease of life, allowing visitors from across the world to come and stay in Cupar.
The market town of Cupar has all the amenities that you would require. Within short walking distance there are various chemists, banks, clothing shops, bakers, cafes, pubs and lots more. Cupar also has a Tesco, a few minutes away, or there are mini supermarkets closer. There are many highly rated restaurants and eateries throughout Cupar and the surrounding area, if you are looking for something a little special The Peat Inn in Cupar is a Michelin-starred restaurant serving high quality meals.
Further afield, in the famous seaside town of St Andrews you can take part in many activities, with historical sites such as St Andrews Cathedral and St Andrews Church, a beautiful walk along the sea front visiting these fascinating sites. There are two beaches in St Andrews, West Sands and East Sands, each with car parking available and a beautiful spot to relax on a summer or for a winter walk. With various museums, outdoor activity options, distilleries, restaurants, bars, botanical gardens and even an aquarium, there is a lot to do in this beautiful and historical town. A must visit for those with a sweet tooth, Jannettas Gelateria, it serves beautiful gelato in many flavours all made on site (yum!).
If you are looking to take in some more culture, you can visit Dundee or Edinburgh via train, the railway station is a six minute walk away from the apartment. Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, has a variety of historical sites, museums, shops, bars, restaurants, and has many beautiful parks to walk around. The City of Dundee, based right on the River Tay is certainly worth a visit. In September 2018 The V&A Museum opens its doors and has been a part of the Dundee waterfront’s £1 billion redevelopment. Other attractions include the RSS Discovery and the Verdant Works, The RSS Discovery was a royal research ship built in Dundee and launched in 1901, returning to Dundee permanently in 1986 after spending many years in Antarctica. The Verdant works, began production in 1833 and was a very famous mill house producing jute and other textiles, now a fascinating attraction built in the original building, visitors can see and hear what it was like for the workers in 1900 and step back in time.
