This beautiful cabin on Fish Trap lake allows guests to experience the lake and up north without lacking in the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. Spend the day out on the lake boating, fishing or stay back to enjoy the views from the front porch. A fire located on a level lot looks directly out onto the lake for your evening enjoyment.

- 2 story cabin with 3 bedrooms. One bedroom is on the main level, 2 are upstairs.

The cabin offers central air-conditioning and heat.

The large front porch has patio seating with 2 tables, and a gas grill. There is a renovated boat house that offers 2 kayaks, 4 life jackets, and a vintage fridge to store lakeside drinks and snacks. Cabin rental includes the kayaks, dock and boat lift use. Fishing is great for bass, northern, sunny, and walleye.
The cabin is also settled on a quiet bay, which is perfect for water sports in the summer and great access to ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling trails.

Great place at the lake
This was the second time we spent a week at this cabin. My husband enjoyed the lake and the fish he caught, and I enjoyed a relaxing stay in a comfortable, cozy house. The cabin is decorated beautifully, and it is obvious that the owner takes pride in the place.

Great spot for a fall getaway.
We loved this property. We spent our days exploring the region - shopping, hiking, etc and returned to the cabin for afternoon/evening melas and games. This was perfect! Beautiful, well kept, cozy and warm. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, beautiful living room to relax!

Comfortable Clean Cabin on the Lake
Very comfy beds and furniture, very clean and a beautiful view of the lake. Property is well-maintained and the location is quiet, except for the area trains which never blow their horns. We definitely hope to return next summer. Oh… and the handmade Quilts in the beds are absolutely gorgeous!! Easy drive to Baxter, Nisswa and Alexandria. Thanks for a great vacation!!

Great place for a quiet getaway
My husband and I stayed for six nights and enjoyed the place thoroughly. Super clean, very comfortable, well-equipped, obviously very thoughtfully prepared for our visit. Also, my husband says the fishing was superb! We are seriously considering a return trip next spring.

Loved this place. Very clean and the location is amazing! The only thing I would change is the pine tree in the front yard where you park, just because we ended up eith a lot of tree sap on our vehicles. Overall I would highly recommend this place

Annual Family Vacation
Absolutely beautiful and CLEAN property! My family and I had the best time. Communication with Camille was fantastic. All the beds were very comfortable (the bunk bed a little squeaky), plenty of bathroom towels, kitchen Cookware, utensils, and small appliances. The lake was beautiful and not too busy. We rented a pontoon for the week from Campfire Resort and took may boat rides around the lake. We were so grateful for the Central Air as the week was very hot. When renting a VRBO, I always rely on the reviews before booking. This cabin is definitely a 5 star and my family and I highly recommend it! We had the best time and made lots of family memories. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us! We enjoyed ourselves so much!

What a great vacation rental
My family enjoyed ourselves so much the last several days staying at your cabin. Not sure how many times my grandchildren jumped off the dock into the blue waters of Fish Trap Lake. Water tubing, listening to the loons, fireflies and s’mores- couldn’t have been better- Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Great stay!
We loved the place and the lake. It is an amazing bass lake and we cannot wait to go back. We spent most of the time on the lake, so not too much in the house. The only downside would be the lack of light in the bathroom downstairs. Overall.. we will be back! :)

Very nice comfortable setting. Beautiful well kept property with neighbors close by. Kitchen is very well stocked, beds are very comfortable. No local TV to check weather conditions. Water was low when we were there so very weedy getting in to the lift but fine outside of the shallows.

We loved our week here. The cabin at check in was spotless and very impressive. The communication with Camille was great. The lake is beautiful with so many coves. The boathouse was great for storing tubes, fishing gear, and it even had a beer refrigerator. My favorite part was the boat lift that was able to hold my ski boat. We also rented a 14 ft fishing boat from the resort across the lake for the week and enjoyed fishing every day. My daughter and her friend enjoyed the kayaks and made many trips to the resort across the lake for ice cream. Beds were comfortable and they have plenty of games to choose from for the rainy days. We will be back. Thank you Camille, you have a beautiful cabin. Steve amd family.

This is a beautiful property, it seems to be all newly renovated. It was very clean. There was plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 children. There are neighbors close by, but they weren’t over bearing or too bothersome. My only complaint (and not really a complaint) was the bunk bed that two of the kids slept in was very squeaky. Overall a beautiful cabin and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Holiday Weekend
We checked in at 4:00 pm on Friday afternoon and checked out at 10:00 am on Monday morning. From the time we arrived until the time we departed there was not one thing to complain about. This rental is wonderfully furnished with all the comforts of home. Great location, not too close to the cities or too far. Situated on a wonderful lake, fire pit, kayaks to use. Can’t wait to rent this lake home again! We had a GREAT HOLIDAY WEEKEND! Jim Field
