Across the street from the dragon bridge makes it a prime location. However, our room smelt stale and a faint smell of cigarettes. We were also advised to book a over priced ride and return trip from Ba Na hills. This trip cost 500-600k VND more than what Grab would have cost. We were told by hotel staff that our signal may not be strong enough to book a Grab ride back to the hotel and that there might not be drivers offering rides back. This was the EXACT opposite of reality and was very upsetting to find out we were lied to.

Staff was extremely friendly. Was able to exchange money at the lobby without having to go out. Location is perfectly situated around all the hustling and bustling area. You can literally walk across the street and have a beer with the local crowd. There's a McDonald right next door even if you wanted to mix things up. The only downside is that there's not many convenient stores around the hotel and they limit you on 2 bottle of water per day.

Great value and perfect location!
Great value for the price we paid! Location's very close to the Dragon Bridge (the tail side). The night market was just across the bridge, so about a 10-15 minute walk. There were many restaurants, cafes and shops right outside the hotel and more 5-10 minutes from the hotel. We were lucky to get an upgrade from 2 large twins to 1 queen + 1 twin for our family of 3. There was a spa promotion going on that we took advantage of, which was less than $29 USD for 100 minutes of treatment! Upscale feel but could've been better if there were less plastic plants and more live plants decorating the lobby. Room was clean and not worn out. It offered a view of the river and Dragon Bridge. Ample space for us - 2 adults & 1 child. Unfortunately, bathroom was a bit dimly lit. There was no light above the shower. And the drain for the shower couldn't keep up with the rainfall shower head. We had to turn off the water or change the water to the hand held wand in order for the water to drain or we risked overflowing onto the bathroom floor. Room included breakfast but we didn't get a chance to go since we had to make the 1st flight out of Da Nang. Overall, a good enough experience that we would consider returning to this hotel should we visit Da Nang again. It was a great value and one of the best places we stayed in during our trip to Vietnam!

The Vanda Hotel is centrally located and easy access to many destinations. If you book tours, you will be picked-up. The hotel is very clean and the staff is excellent. All staff are eager to assist you in all matters. Vy, Trinh, Truc and Hoang were always happy to assist from money exchange, recommending near by restaurants or ensuring I got into the correct vehicle when arranging for car through Grab. I have to give a special acknowledgment to the dining room staff, I have been many places, but the staff is exceptional, I have never seen a dining room maintained so clean. You almost never see dirty dishes. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I return to DaNang, this is the only hotel for me.

Well located hotel
The hotel is well located, close to the dragon bridge. The room was large with good amenities. Staff were very friendly and arranged a transfer to the airport for us. I booked the hotel as it had a rooftop bar, however on arrival found that the rooftop bar was closed for a private event- this was very disappointing.

Great view of the Han River and Dragon Bridge. Breakfast was great! Was not satisfied of the Rooftop restaurant. Food service was challenging when staff could not understand English and had them take back the food I ordered. Mango juice taste diluted with water not what I expected for the price.

This hotel is beautiful, clean and very friendly staffs like Dieu and Tung that were very helpful from the beginning. I had a room with a beautiful view of the golden bridge and I had a 2 hour spa which were excellent. I stayed there for 2 days and I wanted to stay longer. I would definitely stay there again.

I liked everything except the noise on the floor. There was a youth group that was yelling in the hall in the afternoon, at 11:00 at night, and at 3:30 am in the morning. It only happened the final night that I was there. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent. I especially enjoyed the eastern facing window from my room to enjoy sunrise each day. The breakfast was excellent as well.
