On the southern edge of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, close to the Michigan-Wisconsin border, along The Menominee River, lies the 5th Season vacation home, a nature lover's gem with modern convenience. Surrounded by trees which hold your privacy dear, the tall ceilings and large windows overlooking the river are sure to capture your attention. The wrap-around deck outside the main floor bedrooms provides ample space to catch that needed breath of fresh air.
Within the over 3000 square feet of the 5th Season vacation home, there are two (2) separate living spaces (main and lower levels) which allow you to kick back or have fun, read, watch TV, or simply spend time together. The two (2) fireplaces (gas and electric) make this home unique, and also ease in capturing the laid-back ambiance the Upper Peninsula readily offers. Your mind will be sure to wander, as with each glance outside the window; it's easy to get swept away in the meandering Menominee River.
Never miss a beat in the open kitchen, as the chef of your group is still a part of the conversations and sharing of stories that the day has brought upon. Belly up to the island as you have a drink, enjoy a cup of coffee or find yourself in the role of sous chef as you assist in the meal prep. The living room seating is comfortable and ideal for your group. The fun explodes in the basement with the foosball and air hockey tables.
As the sun sets and the moon rises, choose one of four (4) bedrooms, from the king (with an en suite bathroom) to the two (2) queen bedrooms or the lower level room with three (3) twin beds (ideal for the teens in your group). With a master and one (1) queen bedroom on the main level, it adds to the ease of your older family members.
The property also has a separate log cabin onsite, directly on the river, as a private place to go for quiet glass of wine while watching the sunset on the river, and it has an actual firepit nearby for your smores.
Bring your boat, ATV or snowmobile (there is room to park your trailers) to thoroughly enjoy during your stay! Marinette County, WI, located just across the river from the house, has over 600 miles of ATV/Snowmobile groomed trails, and is accessible from the property.
