Decided to visit Dahlonega for their Art & Wine Festival, and needed a nearby place that was dog friendly. Couldn't find a place any better.
Things we loved:
- Huge, gated and fenced property
- Convenient to downtown Dahlonega and other nearby sites
- The house has a number of modern features.
- Quiet neighborhood
- Access to park in the attached garage.
- Use of remote openers for both gate and garage.
- Home is super dog friendly with bowls inside and out.
- Koi pond
- Rocking chairs on the front porch.
- Welcome snacks on the dining room table.
- Easy to find the wifi and password information.
Things you should know:
- The title isn't far off, as the master bedroom bed is extremely tall. We had to go buy a 2.5' step ladder so my 5.2' wife could get on the mattress.
- The bed in the second bedroom appeared to be a futon, do that wasn't a viable option for us.
- Though the property is fenced, be aware there are a few gaps, so you won't want to leave your pup exploring unattended.
We only had one hiccup during our stay at our arrival, but got in contact with the owner and quickly sorted things out. So no need to go further into that.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. And would definitely return if our plans brought us back to the area.
And seriously, you have to get a load of that bed!!
