Let me start by saying the staff was super duper great in every area of this hotel. Now the review, I had to change my room 3 times to get a room resembling the photo online. After showing the staff the actual room I reserved online based on the pictures, I was told that room is not in their hotel. I was in 178 where overall the room was unappealing. I can say the view was really good. The wall I primarily faced was devoid of any pictures or paintings. It was blank. The furniture was dated with baseboards that seemed to have water damage. The 1st floor smelled of stale water and the carpet was torn and worn in several spaces. There was direct access to the shopping mall on this floor. That was a plus. I visited the bar/restaurant by the pool. The food and drinks were good but I waited so long for the bill I went to the bar. I learned after the second time to just order from the bar for a take-away. I didn't find any events nearby. Luckily the hotel is in area where this single female felt very safe walking by herself, no matter the time of day or night. There is no direct beach access. The safe in my room had its keypad ripped off so I had to bring all my valuables with me each time I left my room. I decided to use housekeeping once during my 6-night stay. Ultimately, I really should be requesting a full refund as I feel as if this was a case of bait-and-switch. This hotel used a cardstock photo to solicit customers. That in itself is enough for me to say no,
