The place easy to access from the highway. The desk was helpful I adding an additional room that I had request for the online service that didn’t get recorded. She offered us earplugs due to the proximity to the railroad. We did hear the trail.

Stop over at Dalhart
Stop over at Dalhart heading toward CO. This location is kinda close to HY287 and parking are limited. Pet friendly but had to walk a way to the back of the hotel with a long strip of grass. Plenty of fast-food restaurants along with a few local ones.

We got in late due to delay in travel. The one who checked us in was rude. Parking was limited. It didn’t have space for all the cars of those who checked in. The room smelled moldy and the bed sheets felt itchy.

Small town hotel
The location was good and easy to find. The hotel was very clean, staff very helpful and professional. This is one of Best Westerns older hotels but still a good one to stay at.

This is an older property. However it has been maintained well and was clean. Negative, there is a train in the close proximity.

The bed was not very comfortable. The drawer in the dresser would not stay closed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Someone had disconnected the satellite service from the TV and they had to come to the room and hook it back up. The staff were very thoughtful in making sure everything was good. The breakfast was typical but not much fruit options.
