I understood as soon as I arrived at the hotel that it was under renovations, but during one of my nights, I had tried to take a shower and after contacting the desk, they told me that it would take about five minutes if I let the shower, keep running for the heat come on after about half an hour. The hot water did come on, but was in the middle of taking a bath and immediately turned to cold water so I was not able to take a proper shower that day and then the next day, it took a while to take a shower before I was able to check out so I did have a very enjoyable experience at the hotel

I paid for a confirmed room with a King bed. Apparently I was sold a room that did not exist, because I was told at check in that only rooms with two Queen beds were available. There was a big wet area of carpet near the bathroom. Leak? Condensation? Nothing like wet socks. Also, surprised at check in to learn of noisy renovations.

I had to cancel this reservation when I arrived. The water was turned off for an indefinite amount of time. They are also going through a renovation. However the front desk manager was very upfront with me about the situation. So I appreciated the honesty. She took care of my cancellation. I will be refunded.

Dirty, no shampoos, no cold water the last day. Couldn’t take shower cause only hot hot water was running. Had to ask and remind cleaning ladies to change towels. Furniture old, broken drawers. Filthy matress. Would never ever stay there again. !Do not recommend to anybody.

Welcome help in the Middle of the night.
They went out of their way to help when stranded by weather/airline. The room was recently updated and the location was ideal for Love Field. There is still construction going on in Lobby but did not affect us at all. The front desk staff answered the phone when we called and went out of her way to make our check in process work when the online reservation was screwed up. We have used this property many times in the past and I am glad it is finally being upgraded.

Many problems I encountered centered around the fact this is an older hotel and at the time of my stay was in the midst of a renovation. My room, alas, had not been renovated. The carpets were stained in at least 20 spots and were fraying at the edge. There was nothing in the kitchen area in the way of utensils, plates, glasses, the things you would expect if you were staying in a suite with a kitchen. The couch and chair were uncomfortable. The remote for the living room TV did not work and had to be replaced. The bedroom TV had fuzzy vertical lines on every channel. The beds were uncomfortable. The outlets in the bathroom did not work. The toilet handle had to be held down for at least 15 seconds until all the water was evacuated from the toilet for it to flush properly. My third floor room overlooked the pool, which had a distinct greenish-yellow tint to the water. The entire hotel was humid - lobby, elevator, hallways, and worst of all, my suite. To be fair, I was offered a full refund, but only after I had fully checked in and was informed of the renovation in progress. This hotel may be a cracker-jack hotspot to stay in after the renovation, but I will not be back to find out.

This is a one-entrance hotel, so parking may not be very close to the door. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they explained that the hotel was being renovated. The TV in our room didn't work. The ice machines on floors 6 and 7 didn't work (fortunately, ice was available on 5). The breakfast ($12.50) was fine.

Great Stay for My Overnight
The property is showing its age and I’d judge it as being in fair condition. BUT renovations are in progress (though quiet throughout my stay), the staff was friendly and helpful, my linens and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the property felt safe. It was a great stay for my quick trip to the area.
