Came up short
The house itself was nice. However, the kitchen was dirty. The fridge and freezer were filled with old food, and the ice maker was filled with gunk. The handles of the refrigerator looked so dirty that I did not want to touch them. The microwave also appeared unclean. It was completely yellow on the inside. The other downside is that the futon bed in one of the rooms is extremely hard. The person in our group who had that room was so uncomfortable that he could not fall asleep until 3 am. The upside was that the bathrooms were clean, although one bathroom was pretty small. There were absolutely no bugs anywhere in the house. The owners seemed very pleasant in communications. I hope they will check behind the cleaning crew work in the kitchen.

It was nice. Could use some towel bars in bathroom. Hooks on door for clothes. Maybe some grab bars for older folks. I know this is easy for me to say. Because other people might break the things off. Couch was hard for me to get up from. It was cold in living room. Over all I would rate this stay as very good. I enjoyed my time in Darlington. Host was great.

My husband and his coworker stayed at the property and said it was the first time they felt like they were home since they started working in South Carolina! They loved it and even booked again after their first week staying! The owner was a breeze to talk to and responded in a timely manner! She was so sweet and thoughtful and even checked in on the men!

My husband and one of his employees are staying in South Carolina 16 hours away from home for work! We found this home for them and they have loved it! The home is very clean and the owner has been amazing at responding quick with any questions they may have! They had to check out for the weekend due to another guest already having it booked and asked me to be sure to book this home again for them!
