Weekend Getaway

Could be better
Posted 26 Aug. 2024 on HomeAwayWe arrived at the house Friday morning and was able to check in early. There was a dead bugs in the living room. The tub in master bathroom had some brown spots in it. The pool was not clean and still had toys at the bottom. The pool area had weeds growing all around and spider webs on the chairs. The lounge chairs had dirt on them. The property could have been better maintained. The house was overpriced for the experience that we had.

Great house to rent near Disney for the family

Not As Advertised
Posted 22 May 2024 on HomeAwayProperty was disappointing - pictures were old and didn't reflect what the property actually looks like. It could be a great property with some TLC. Outside needs maintenance and inside needs updating (kitchen appliances are new and that is an asset). Until some care is given to the property, I would not recommend staying there.

Only thing I would recommend is them having someone deep clean the entire home like even the ceilings and the outside area by the pool. The house is older and you can tell upon first entering the home because it has this strong smell of "oldness". We ended up buying some candles to make the house smell somewhat decent. The pool area is nice but there's spider webs that needs to be cleared. Other than that, the house was nice!

Less than what we expected
Posted 1 Aug. 2023 on HomeAwayIt started with the curb appeal. Grass and shrubery way overgrown. Grass growing through pavement. Entry room was not bad. The kitchen furniture was dirty and had tons of stains on them. Food was found under the glass on the kitchen table. The second living smelled like a dog.The master bedroom needs to be upgraded and needs new blinds and curtains. The second master bedroom had a camera in the bathroom, which was creepy. Our privacy was invaded. All of the backyard furniture was filthy. We had to flip them over just to sit on them. Some were filthy on both sides, so we just put towels on top. Needs an exterminator. A million ants lived by the pool.The hot water jacuzzi did not heat up at all. I spoke with the owner several times, and he gave me the instructions on how to heat the hot tub, but of course it just didnt work. His response time was delayed. He actually got back to me on my last day headed to the airport. Such a disappointment! We definitely didnt get what we paid for. I wouldnt recommend this house to anyone!

Hi Lasheena, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
- The grass is regularly maintained by the HOA, and any grass between the pavers is routinely taken care of by a maintenance worker.
- New covers for the dining room chairs were installed in August after receiving your feedback. Please note that pets are not allowed. We'll address your concerns regarding the cleanliness of the kitchen with the cleaning company so this issue does not affect future guests.
- Although the furniture in the primary bedroom is quite expensive, we are currently investigating the condition of the curtains and blinds to ensure they don't require replacement.
- Additionally, we've had the poolside furniture cleaned since your visit, but we'll also be re-evaluating the condition of the furniture in October to ensure it's still in great shape.
- There are no cameras in the interior of the house, so it's possible that a camera was left behind by the previous guests. We're looking into this to make sure that the camera has now been removed as we take guest security and privacy extremely seriously.
- Thanks for letting us know about the ants you encountered. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues, and they treat the property every two months. We haven't encountered this comment from any other guests before or after your stay. We believe this was addressed during the most recent pest control service.
- The spa works as advertised and typically takes about five minutes to heat up. The jets operate at low speed as described in the listing.
- We deeply apologize for the delay in addressing your concerns. This was an oversight on our part, and we take full responsibility for the lack of a timely response.
