Lakeside Retreat on Lake Lanier - The Peaceful Perfect Getaway for Couples

Welcome to Dawsonville and one of North Georgia’s most intriguing locations, Lake Lanier. Here you will enjoy beautiful North Georgia mountains, vineyards, outlet and boutique shopping, hiking trails, as well as a short drive to downtown Atlanta. This quaint studio cottage has all you need for a perfect getaway.
You will enjoy fully furnished nights with a plush king size bed, fully stocked chef’s kitchen, and a custom designed master bath with a stand-up shower and a beautiful air-bath tub. Comfortably heated floors are included for colder nights and a gas firepit table on the deck.. On warmer evenings you will enjoy sitting on the outdoor porch, overlooking the tranquil garden of evergreens or on the newly added side deck with views of Lake Lanier.(Please know that we are on the lake, but we do not have a dock.)
This will be a perfect alternative to a hotel stay for you while visiting Lake Lanier, North Georgia mountains, wineries, or Dahlonega. We live right around the corner on the lake with a dock. We have two kayaks available for rent with access to the lake from our dock. Please inquire when you book to see if these are available. You are more than welcome to hang out on our dock and fish/swim.

This Lakeside Retreat was the best Retreat Ever!
My Husband and I spend three nights in this amazing, charming and serene "cabin type" hideaway. Tucked away on Lake Lanier, our "resort" was nothing short of a slice of heaven. The décor was charming, with encouraging and spirit filled words throughout the home. The host, Donna, went so out of her way to provide a memorable experience that we will not forget. From the welcoming music that was playing when we arrived, the beautiful aroma that filled the room when we walked in, and the thoughtful bottle of wine that awaited us (next to the amazing snack basket)...we truly wanted for nothing. The coffee bar was stacked with anything we needed while we were there. I absolutely adored this place and hope to return again soon. This was a 10 star getaway for sure. Beautiful Property, Great Hospitality!
This property was just as cute as the pictures. The cabin was spotless and well maintained, the fridge was filled with all of the necessities and then some - and Donna even grabbed a few of our favorite snacks and beverages, a very welcoming touch. Donna's hospitality is top notch, we will be back!

Cutest little bungalow
We stayed for a very quick weekend. We attended a wedding within 30 min of the property and didn't want a stuffy hotel. The place is adorable, clean, has everything you need, and is nicely tucked away from the hustle of city life. I saw a hummingbird outside the window the first day and knew we had found the perfect little weekend spot.

We had such a wonderful stay. Donna was 100% helpful in anyway if we had any questions. The cabin was absolutely wonderful and so peaceful. Me and my hubby celebrated our 1 year anniversary and my birthday together at the cabin and we came back home so happy. We even went for a walk around the neighborhood after dinner one of the nights. I absolutely loved the view at night and I love how everything was lighted up at night. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends that want a quiet and country getaway. We will definitely be back when we want some alone time.

The place was just as pictured. Very cute and perfect for a couple. Donna provided much more than any vrbo we ever stayed at. The refrigerator was stocked with everything we needed for our 5 day stay and she even provided a bottle of wine for each of us. There are many nice wineries and places to visit in the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. 5 stars from us for sure.
