The Palm Tree Hideaway!

Enjoy some rest and relaxation at this peaceful beach cottage. A 5 minute walk to the nearest beach with teal water and white sand. Centrally-located between some of Long Islands greatest attractions, beaches, and restaurants. A short trip to the best stocked grocery store on the island. Car rental can be arranged! We believe that everyone who visits should explore everything the island has to offer!

Everything in this house is recently updated. The large front porch has patio furniture and seating. The perfect place to kick your feet up and relax with a glass of wine! Inside you'll find all new furniture and appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything from pots, pans, utensils, glasses, ziplocks, condiments, etc. The living room sofa pulls out to a queen bed and fresh linens are stored in the ottoman. The bedroom has all new furniture and plenty of room for your luggage. Every room is equipped with ice cold air-conditioning. However, we suggest opening the screened windows to enjoy the constant breeze that fills the house. The house phone in the main room can be used to communicate with businesses on the island. There is a fire stick with the TV and board games to enjoy during down time.

We REALLY encourage our guests to explore the island, as there is so much to see and do. Long Island is the ultimate adventure vacation! (Can you tell this is our absolute favorite place on planet earth?) Every side road leads to a new beach or scenic view. The people living on Long Island are so friendly and welcoming. I promise they will make you feel like family! Never be afraid to stop at a random bar or take-away and strike up a conversation... that is how the best spots are found! There are guides on the island that offer eco-tours, reef fishing, deep-sea fishing, and day trips to other islands. We will be happy to make plenty of suggestions and share contact information when you book with us! We can also assist you in booking flights, taxi service from the airport, and creating an itinerary! Myself and my wife will both be available via what's app throughout your entire stay!

What a great Hideaway!
First off, the communication with the owner was great. Right from the start Patrick was letting us know about the property and the island. We were allowed to check in upon arrival to the island since no one was before us, which was great. Unfortunately the flight was 4 hours late. Nonetheless, when we arrived, the property was ready to go and was perfect. Close to the beach and close to dinner good places to shop and eat. So many places on the island are outdated, but Hideaway was fresh and with a well stocked kitchen. Thank you Patrick for a great stay!

Perfect base for exploring Long Island
House was modern and well outfitted to include a perfect island bush car and conveniently located near a great Exuma side beach- and well off Queenā€™s Highway. Quiet and private. Having spent a number of years visiting South Eleuthera, we found Long Island to be similar but even more relaxed with great food and somewhat better infrastructure. Great fishing opportunities of all types and good snorkeling at beautiful beaches. Incredible, genuinely friendly and helpful people. This is perfect for a couple like us who love the outdoors and adventure but really appreciate a comfortable clean place to cook a great meal, have a nice shower and rest at the end of the day. The owner and property manager are great communicators who follow through which is invaluable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful quiet spot close to beach
The Palm Beach Hideaway is a beautiful little spot about a 7 minute walk from a great walking beach. The unit is extremely well appointed with everything one could imagine needing, even some leftover condiments. We used the included car a lot. It is old but runs well. We did have a tire problem but a quick call to Fiona, the property manager helped to get it resolved promptly.
