The suroundings are great. Then you get into your room and everything is old and in need of a good renovation. Also I didn't have TV as it wasn't working for some reason. The staff didn't seem to care much about it. I think for the price it could be much much better.

Rooms are quite old and dirty looking. Walls and floors are very thin and there are lots of children / large families staying here so it’s hard to sleep because there will be lots of noises in the morning and evening. You also hear it when someone 2 rooms down shower or flush the toilet. Some amenities listed (like tennis court) are also unavailable and staff doesn’t seem aware of that even - during check in I asked about tennis courts and they said yes you can play there but it’s under construction.

Little choice in National Park. This is good. But our room was near the ladders, so it is very noise in the early morning when many people come out to sunrise.

We had a late checkin and although checkin process itself was quick, finding the room inside the premises was challenging as the directions within the property were confusing in the pitch dark. They should install more lights and radium direction indicators. Inside the room, the coffee cups were not clean and the bathroom and sink were getting clogged. Overall very basic. Their icecream shop had some fantastic options so kids had fun time. The old 20 mule wagon on the display was great and so was coal railway engine. Overall, it was “ok” for couple of nights as all the points to see were nearby.

Dining options were completely swamped 2 hr wait for a table in the last word saloon at 6.15 pm and the Tavers stopped taking orders at 6.30pm. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The downstairs rooms were very noisy, not with upstairs guests but with the floors, even walking across them resulted in loud creaking. If you stay here DO NOT TAKE A DOWNSTAIRS ROOM YOU WILL GET NO SLEEP. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
