We're originally from Halifax, and now we stay at the Halliburton every time we visit. The south end location is ideal for walking to waterfront, universities and restaurants. We love the historic building and vintage feel. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Did not like the pillows. Also, pigeons and pigeon debris all over outside the window of our room. Not enough accessible outlets in the room. Enjoyed that we could have a drink in the garden or the library provided for a nominal cost by the hotel.

The property is very nice but if you have trouble with climbing stairs you will not be able to stay here. It has many stairs so that makes it not an assessable property
