No one greeted us at the property and we did not receive the instruction E-mail. Other guests helped us and we helped the next guest. No connected smoke detector, could use darkening blinds, and a fan, walls are thin, so a bit noisy, needs paint in bathroom, only 2 towels, no hand towels or face clothes. No real breakfast except, instant oatmeal and coffee. Otherwise we slept comfortably. It is a cute place that could use a little love.

This property was very nice and homie. Beautifully decorated. Very close to everything we needed. Only thing I would say is the outside light and stairway lights didn't seem to work when we go there. Summer that isn't a big deal but during the fall / winter, it is very dark and they should be left on. However, I would stay her again without hesitation.

Provided door code was changed and did not give us access. Someone else let us in. Site is a work in progress and not ready for prime time. Room was cold. No soap or shampoo in shower. No contact information once on site. Entire area was unfinished.

There are 3 rooms up a flight of stairs. Rooms B and C share abathroom in the hall. Room A has a private bathroom. The bed was comfy. Little table and chairs between rm b and c. Coffee was provided, some bowls and silverware

Stay ok, but plenty of surprises!
They should tell you in the description that this is a 2 story house with bedrooms converted into 'hotel' rooms. The un-mowed and sandy front lawn was the parking lot and not all rooms have their own bathrooms. The house is in a residential neighborhood. You get access codes via text message after calling the number left with your confirmation. There is no one their to talk to or help.

Everything could use a little TLC but otherwise, it's clean, fairly comfortable, convenient access to the highway less than a mile away. The common area floor squeaks really, really badly, and all the doors either shut extremely hardly or not at all. Either some serious settling issues or poorly fit and hung to begin with.

1. Cost. Cheapest thing I could find in Delta Junction. 2. Owner was there to meet us. 3. Owner was very accommodating and graciously allowed us to use her son's toddler bed for our two year old! 4. Room itself was very pretty! The bed, floors, and bathroom design is largely as pictured. Cons: 1. There are no pictures of the outside of the premises so when you arrive there isn't any visual cue to confirm that you're at the right place. 2. Soundprooding... there isn't any. 3. Generally hosts either leave a print out with critical information such as door code, wifi, and close out instructions. None of this was present nor was it in the confirmation email. Had to ask for wifi password and door key code. 4. Fire detector was removed in the room we were staying in...and the common area... 5. Bathroom glass window is broken with no way to close it. In summer this isn't an issue. In Alaskan winters this poses obvious issues... To the owner, remember that in business, feedback is a gift. If you make effort in addressing the items listed above, you'll have a very effective home BnB!

Pictures look way nicer then the actual house. Everything was really dusty, broken windows in the bathroom that you could really hurt yourself on, kids toys all over the yard. Way overpriced for the stay. The bed was very comfy.

Spa bathtub was pleasant surprise. & bathroom & bedroom had character & potential. Hardwood floors provide a woodsy touch but are creaky. Lighting above outside entry is too dark & will lead to injuries if not addressed. Would come back.

BOGUS IN DELTA JUNCTION
This is scam accommodation. Hotels.com MUST remove this from their booking site. No one was present, no email, no notice NOTHING! I was forced to stay and pay elsewhere AND l demand a refund. Locals in Delta Junction had NEVER heard of Jillian House. This place is definitely bogus. DO NOT STAY HERE Barrie Goedecke

Room is good, but very poorly managed
Jillian house is bed 'n' breakfast type accommodation. It has two rooms, one with attached bathroom and other with detached bathroom. We were staying in the room (room A) with attached bath. There was another couple in another room. The property is good, but very poorly managed. - The yard, where we parked our car, had dog poop. My husband stepped on to it when he was taking out the stuff from the trunk. - Our bathroom door did not close. You have to be careful with the faucet in the wash basin. It spills water all over the basin counter, and there were no tissue paper to wipe it, so we had to use toilet paper. - The mattress seemed like very old and saggy. - Didn't feel like the bed-linens are changed after every stay. - Room was spacious, but didn't have useful space to keep our stuff. - There was a shelf which was quite dusty. - Breakfast was minimal and not properly stocked. Like, there was only one keurig coffee, and there were four guests. There was a packet of bagels with one or two bagels. There was no faucet in breakfast area, so you have to get water for your coffee from bathroom. - It had few hi-tech gadgets which is pretty useless for a traveller.
