Of course anyone going to Denali needs a car. This was like staying at the Hilton re comfort and decor. Terry was very pleasant and helpful and before I booked made suggestion Re length of stay. (4days in winter was too long). She made some great suggestions. Would recommend

What a BEAUTIFUL home, lovely bedroom suite, and incredibly gracious homeowner, Terri, who is so thoughtful and welcoming and generous!! It’s so spacious, with wonderful natural light and a beautiful master bath and living room and kitchen area, and a gorgeous porch and lawn area with vibrant flowers, in a very peaceful location that is wonderful to come back to after a long day at Denali Park, a short drive by rental car away from the touristy hustle and bustle area of the park.

I stayed in the basement room area which was very comfortable and meticulously clean. The host Terry was very warm and gracious and she provided such a nice personal touch to the stay. I had not stayed at an B&B before but after this lovely experience, I really recommend it. The house has a nice deck area to hang out on. The continental breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. During the offseason, there aren't a lot of restaurants open, so you are allowed to use the kitchen area to make dinner and a grocery store is nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place that is minutes from Denali. The park shut down on Sept 12 and so did all but one restaurant in the Healy area and it closed at 2 pm so we were very glad to be at a house with a full kitchen so we could cook our dinners. Breakfast options included oatmeal and yogurt for those needing a wheat free diet and many varieties of breads and pastries for those who do not. Super quiet and very restful. The owners could not be more hospitable and welcoming. Great experience in all respects.
