We are avid travelers, booked this property about 8 months ago and ratings were better, or I mistakenly booked or I was drunk. Run down, smells like perfume covering smoke, no amenities, broken toilet, broken counter, handprints on mirrors, shower sprayed everywhere. The couch looked like there was a crime committed on it. Stained carpet, we got blankets from our car and slept on top of the covers. Given it’s not the best place to stay in Denver, but close to Red Rocks and we didn’t pay for the Ritz, but we had two rooms and left at 6am because of the noise. The staff at check-in needs go to customer service training and perhaps an update as this is a Wyndham chain. Expected better and will NEVER go back.

My husband is a paraplegic so we booked what was supposed to be an accessible room for him. Nope it was accessible for an older person who has difficulty walking but not for a real handicapped person. The toilet was to high, the shower chair was more of a shower stool which is unsafe for someone who is paralyzed thankfully we travel with his equipment so we were able to safely get him in the bathtub. The room I booked showed a roll in shower not a bathtub. The pool door had a door handle all the way at the top that mind you a paraplegic can’t reach from their wheelchair. Also we booked a room for 5 people and they refused to give us enough blankets, pillows, and towels to be sufficient for the amount of people we listed when booking. Not impressed by any means and will not stay at any Baymont hotel ever again. Would rather spend extra money and stay in a nicer more reputable hotel.

The staff was unfriendly, and acted like they were doing you a favor to even speak. Every one on front desk looked atvthe ground when a person walked in. The bathrooms had mold all around the tub and it ALL needed scrubbed. Although we were there 4 days, and obviuosly staff had come in our room, no one ever even took the trash out, we finally bagged it and sat it outside in the hall. Every time we left we came back to our keys not working, and had to go back to the front to fix them, and again, staff very unfriendly and acted like it was our fault.. Breakfast bar ran out of several things everyday. All of this is easily fixed just by caring. Do better!

Lets just say we we're taking a bath as we were taking showering I am sure it was hair down the drain since there was some already in the tub and walls. Even if your on a budget do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more and stay at clean and nice place.

Overall decent stay
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and beds. Love the non carpeted floors in the rooms but it amplifies every noise from the hall, rooms above and neighboring rooms and we didnt have the most considerate guests around us. Decent size pool with good seating arpind pool. Breakfast bar daily with basic waffle, fruit, cereal and egg offerings in a clean area. Some things ran out quickly and weren't quickly restocked bit over all a decent option for a light breakfast. Building could use some attention but the ice amd vending machines were stocked and working. Overall a decent stay.

Our room had no wash cloths, no trash can, and breakfast in the morning was a disaster. We were told there was no syrup for the waffles, no bread for toast, out of cream cheese for the bagels, coffee was watered down, the only other option was cold cereal and apple juice. The breakfast hostess told me to just stir the waffle mix with my spoon because it was at the end of the batter. It was actually pretty gross looking. She also had her kids running in and out of the area.

The hotel is run down and it appears to be used by low income long term tenets. The bed probably over 10 years old, and that's not an over estimate, as a matter of fact, I went to Walmart and bought a toper for it so I can sleep and sprayed the place with disinfectant. Poor customer service. After a few days from checking out the incidental deposit was charged and there was no credit, when I called to acquire the person answering the phone was extremely rude. As soon as I asked about the charge, he proceeded to tell me that he is not going to argue with me and hanged up the phone. I was unable to ask or clarify anything, he was simply rude and aggressive with his tone and hung up the phone. I will not recommend this place to anyone else and will not use again. The only reason I even stayed was because I already booked it in advance and traveled a long distance to attend family issues that was more pressing.

New carpet was not tacked properly on the floor, mold and grud in the ceiling. No stopper in the bathtub. Just a big hole. Pretty certain the mattress was left over from the '80s. CALL THEIR HOTEL THE LOCAL NUMBER. GO AHEAD AND GIVE IT A TRY. FRONT DESK STAFF ANSWERS THE PHONE WITH A NEGATIVE HELLO. THEY DO NOT INTRODUCE THEMSELVES AS THE HOTEL. YOU HAVE NO IDEA IF YOU'VE ACTUALLY GOTTEN THE HOTEL THEY JUST SAY HELLO THEY DON'T SAY ANYTHING LIKE HELLO THANK YOU FOR CALLING BAYMONT, OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. ALSO HOPEFULLY NO ONE IN YOUR FAMILY IS DISABLED. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR AT ALL.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was dirty. Rooms were dirty. Stains on beds and in the shower. Pretty sure towels were dirty and folded to look unused. A/C was nasty and full of dust and mold. Spiders all over the room. No extra lock on the door. Parking lot was small with a lot of sketchy people hanging around.

We arrived at 1pm and requested an early check in. We were told there were no clean rooms even though the parking lot was completely empty. Then we saw the sign for the mandatory $100 cash deposit. It said cash only, no credit cards. We left and never returned. We would rather go to another hotel and loose our room payment than have a cash payment required to stay there.

The first issue wasn’t the hotel’s fault as the city has made it very difficult to reach the property due to the road and intersection design. You can only reach the property by taking right hand turns and not from major street nor highway. However, the property is rundown and has obvious maintenance and booking issues. We arrived late and couldn’t gain access to our room so we had the front desk help us enter only to find the room was already occupied! When we reached our room, it was dirty, hair in the tub and sheets and cobwebs all over the ceilings, just to mention a few. We were too tired to complain and did the best we could with uncomfortable beds and noisy a/c. The next morning, the included breakfast had very slim pickings and sad with brown bananas and oranges. The grounds had the same trash on the lawn for the two days we were there. This hotel was chosen for its proximity to Red Rocks, but unfortunately we won’t return. The night auditor was the friendliest employee we encountered.
