Everything was great in the property. Clean & very comfortable for our weekend short stay. Slightly expensive for what it is but I suppose having the Hilton name it can be. The area around the property was a little run down looking with broken kerbs & paving slabs. There are a lot of road works on 16th street that we were told has been going on for a while so it looks a little sad. Nothing to do with the property but handy to know if you have any walking issues/aids getting to/from station/shops.

Itā€™s not that I didnā€™t like it but it is located next to a work site/job storage area?!? Not sure what it was. As far as the facility, it is clean, welcoming to sit and chat in several areas in the lobby which was used. It has a two sided fireplace which in the winter will be a nice addition for skiers. There is a very nice restaurant adjoined to the hotel. Pretty good food though I didnā€™t like the pancakes. They looked great and smelled great but sadly they were bland. Even. With syrup. I paired them with eggs over easy and they were still bland. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Union Station area, as it is close to the red line bus station that travels to the free mall street. This is the beginning point of the ride so you are sure to have a seat, the bus can get crowded. Denver downtown is commuter friendly. Buses, lots of motor scooters available, Pericles include two to four seaters. These bikes are fun to sit and watch the goings on around you. Catch one to a game, so convenient too.

The room was nice but it could have been better cleaned and have better pillows. The coffee maker was dirty and the water tank looked like hasn't been cleaned in a while (attached).
