Million Dollar View Near Denver, Big West Skiing, and Countless Natural Wonders

No animals of any type allowed due to family allergies. Spacious home on 2.4 acres of a private section of Lookout Mountain with views from every room above 7,000 feet elevation. Owners live upstairs and lower level unit is self-sufficient. Guest parking for 2-3 cars with sidewalk to private entrance.
2,400 square foot apartment includes full laundry room, complete open kitchen/ bar, 2 decks, and great cell coverage.
The huge game room includes a 55" smart TV, full-size pool table, shuffle board table, foosball table and space to spare.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, huge walk-in closet, desk and work areas, a smart TV and full bath.
The second bedroom has 2 full-size beds, walk-in closet, a desk and reading area.
Well water is excellent for drinking.
Apex Park mountain biking and foot path just feet from your door. Red Rocks concerts, City of Golden and the town of Evergreen are only 10 minutes away.
Denver International Airport is a 40 minute drive.
Loveland, Winter Park and Arapaho Basin ski areas are all within an hours drive. Copper and Keystone are a little further, but doable.
Frequent wildlife sightings of deer, hummingbirds (in summer), elk, turkeys, and hawks, with the occasional coyote or black bear.
We allow 24-48 hours between bookings to fully clean, sanitize and restock the unit so that it will be perfect upon your arrival.

18th birthday get away
I brought my son and his friend to Denver to see a concert. Neither of the boys are big city people so we opted for a house in the mountains. We were all blown away when we got to the top of the mountain and saw the view of the city below. Breathtaking. The house was beautiful and all of the first morning essentials were in the fridge for us when we got there. We will be back !

Wonderful Christmas Break
We arrived on Christmas evening amidst an unanticipated snow flurry, after dark. With the flurries, darkness and unfamiliarity with the neighborhood we somehow ended up in a neighbors property, off the road and unable to get out! A phone call to Geri and Tim resulted in them jumping into their vehicle to come retrieve us and our luggage, knowing we could get the car in the morning. They went above and beyond and we were so very grateful.The rest of our stay was quite uneventful, which was very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their home, which had everything we needed. There were supplies for breakfast in the fridge which was so appreciated. The view is incredible and I would highly recommend staying in their home. A king size bed in the master bedroom would be an excellent addition for those used to king size and there is plenty of room. We would stay there again!!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was beautifully appointed, offering both comfort and style. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with a prime location that gave us easy access to the breathtaking Rocky Mountains and the vibrant energy of Denver. The accommodations are exactly as advertised. Owners Geri and Tom are truly nice, caring people. Our arrival coincided with a somewhat stubborn snow storm that made driving challenging. Geri reached out a day or two early to warn us. I have experience in east coast snow, and we had rented an AWD vehicle, at Geriā€™s insistence. So no problem there. We arrived to find them salting and shoveling, and they were very relieved that we arrived Unscathed. The concern was sincere, not about the rental but rather about us. We were touched and it is heartwarming to find that care and concern in todayā€™s atmosphere. Can I leave six stars?

we enjoyed this apartment, and the location. views are great as advertised. there are also hiking trails right near the house. the hosts we welcoming, and helpful with information. it snowed while we were there and the hosts had the driveway and walkways cleared promptly.

Serenity, Peace and Views
What a jewel in the hills above Golden, CO!! The pics on line don't do this place justice. We arrived around 1:30 am and the directions from the owner were perfect and easy to navigate. The next morning we awoke to find a refrigerator pretty much ready to 'serve' anything we needed to get our day going... not your ordinary VRBO hosts. With a schedule crushed for a bit of time, we found this to be a life saver. The home was absolutely lovely and peaceful and quiet. Wonderful spaces to play pool, shuffleboard and more. or just sit, relax and enjoy a good book and a cup of coffee. The views over the city are in a league of their own and this place will bring us back to the Denver area, just because. So central to the mountains, the city and just about wherever you want to roam, the hostess was fabulous to work with, easy to communicate with and gracious in her generosity. Great place for couples, a family or a group of friends to come and chill. it doesn't deserve 5 stars, it deserves 8!!!

Property is so well maintained and clean. We totally enjoyed our stay. We had elk outside our doorway one evening and the nearby hiking trails are so easy to get to. The owners do live upstairs and you can hear the foot steps when they are active. However; they are very welcoming and accommodating to any requests.

Visiting Red Rock with Family
Our stay in Golden was spectacular! We enjoyed everything from the amazing views, Elk herds, 7 mike hiking adventure to the evening games, movies and outdoor shower under the stars. Red Rock was amazing and truly an unforgettable experience. The owners were gracious proving a well stocked kitchen and everthing we needed for our stay. We will definitely visit this area again. Beautiful place!
This property was perfect for me and my two teenage sons. The game tables kept them happy. We were very lucky to see Elk right outside our door! This was a great location to get to all the destinations we wanted to get to. An hour and half to RMNP. 15 minutes from Red Rocks and 50 minutes from Denver Airport. We were able to jam pack our weekend with plenty to do! Will definitely stay again!

One of the best views you can ask for but also a great location, especially for its proximity to Red Rocks as well as great food options in the area. Very clean and well maintained home and the hosts Tom and Geri are super nice people. 10/10 stay and would definitely stay again.

Fabulous find
Special vacation with our adult kids to Denver/Red Rock/Golden. The apartment is spacious, clean and fully stocked. The views are spectacular especially at sunrise. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. We went to breweries, great restaurants, tubing on the clear river, haunted pub crawl and attended a concert at Red Rocks.

A beautiful home and gorgeous view
Our family of four fit perfectly. My boys loved the pool table, foosball, and shuffleboard tables. It gave them something to do in between activities. Hosts are very personable. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of things. Being able to see over Denver on the 4th of July was amazing. Fireworks were everywhere. One of the coolest views Iā€™ve ever seen. Hiking trails were right down the road. And Denver was only about 15-20 mi s away.

Loved our stay here! Geri was quick with information about the area and home. It was well stocked with staples (she messaged to check the fridge before we went to the store). The place is really lovely complete with hummingbirds to watch while drinking the morning coffee. If you are going to see a show at red rocks it is very convenient! Stay here - you will not be disappointed!

The home was spectacular in the way of floor plan, space, cleaniness, it was well stocked, so comfortable. The view from the hills breathtaking. The owners Geri and Tom were so friendly and helpful with anything we asked. Definitly would stay here again.The location in Golden was central to areas we wanted to go, Vail, Estes Park, Leadville, Downstream Adventures for Rafting, Denver. Loved downtown Golden. Love the shopping for souveniers. Cowboy Atomic for breakfast was so so good their homemade biscuits the best. Buffalo Rose for Bison Burgers the excellent.

Forever Wouldn't Be Long Enough ...
Geri & Tom call it "The Million Dollar View" I could lookout upon that view a million times, & it still wouldn't be enough. My family & I are from the flat state of FL (our home is only 9ft above sea level) so the views from this property, were phenomenal & breathtaking! Mountain peaks (some still dotted with snow), the endless blue skies, green meadows, the shimmery dancing green aspens leaves, curious deer & various fluttering birds, accompanied by the perfect mountain air felt like a dream that had been calling me for as long as I can remember. The home is located right next to Apex Park (mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding trails), I am an outdoor/nature lover, so this was perfect for me. Every morning I went for a run by myself (I carried the bear spray because I'm from FL) but never felt in any danger because I'd always see other hikers, runners or bikers out too. My husband & teen daughter would join me for hikes mid-morning and evenings as well. There are many places to hike in Colorado, but when we'd look them up online, many were so similar to what was right there on property waiting to be explored. We went to see my favorite band play at Red Rocks (a bucket list venue)! My girls experienced snow for the 1st time when we took the cog train to Pike's peak. We saw bighorn sheep & 3 great grey owls at Garden of the Gods. We enjoyed all the games in the house. So much fun in downtown Golden! Don't miss out on booking this property, we never wanted to leave!ā¤
