Great Weekend Trip
I stayed here for a solo weekend trip. I had a great stay. The room was very comfortable. Check in and out were easy and quick. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. I did utilize the spa and the organic facial was great. The hotel is in a good location to see the sites in downtown and less than a block from Union Station for an easy trip from the airport. I would definitely stay here again.

Spacious room & comfortable bed. The doormen were very friendly, warm & welcoming. Couldnā€™t say the same for the reception staff, e.g. ā€œAndrewā€ (except the girl who checked me in), or others. Bathroom ceiling has moulds EVERYWHERE. Water pressure is very very slow in sink. Heater hardly worked. Even though it was at 30 degree celsius the room was barely warm. Urban Farmer - food was good, but service & speed needs work.

We have stayed at the Oxford twice now and both times were stellar. They keep it old school with fine amenities, attention to detail and a personal touch. It is well worth the cost - which is still very reasonable - and you canā€™t beat the proximity to the train station. Highly recommend!

The Heat in my room did not work! And temperature was freezing in Denver. They brought me a hard thin cotton blanket and a mattress pad to keep warm with!! A mattress pad, Is a blanket!! This was ridiculous! I was quite cold, the whole entire time in my room. I was cold getting out of the shower. Most uncomfortable room I ever stayed in. We had a good stay! It was a stay-cation for my girlfriend and I, we loved the walk ability, options for restaurants and everything Denver has to offer. We felt let down by the hospitality aspect of our experience, especially in our own city. It did not ruin our time by any means, but did not live to our expectations comparing to other hotels weā€™ve stayed at.

The property is situated within view of Union Station and is walkable to downtown Denver spots. The character of the lobby and rooms is unique and the service was excellent. In and out privileges valet parking is costly but quick and convent. I dropped in for the whiskey tasting which was a fun offering and grabbed a fountain soda from the attached bar and I was treated as no bother. This is a great spot for character and convenience if you donā€™t mind paying for it.
