You can relax on our balcony and enjoy the direct view of the beach that Southern Living Magazine voted #1 in the United States! Watch the dolphins play in the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Everything is furnished for a 'home away from home' feel. You can take a 10 minute walk along to the beach to the world famous 'Back Porch'. Stay for a Bloody Mary served in a beach pail or stay for lunch. Lots of local fare to snack on including their famous Amber Jack Sandwiches. All this right on the beach so flip flops are not required! Wake up in the morning and walk next door for an incredible breakfast at The Pancakery for incredible pancakes and breakfast. You don't have to worry about losing your key in the sand...This condo has keyless entry - no key to pick up or send back and forth, no key to worry about losing at the beach. Plumbing Issues need addressing.
Although clean when we arrived, there was a smell we tracked to the washer. Called to have that fixed but the chemicals they put in did not get rid of the stench. So no washer. Master bath tub only slowly drained as well. As we were cleaning up to depart, found the disposal side of the sink backs up and the dishwasher had standing water in it causing us to hand wash everything.

The condo unit itself was very nice, much nicer than presented in the pictures. The pools and beach were very nice as well. The check-in process was a disaster. When we got to the room we realized we did not have an access code. The front desk told us the property owners should have provided it to us, but in VRBO it said the front desk would provide. After multiple rounds of back and forth with the desk they realized that had us booked the wrong days, which is why they didn’t have a code. Very frustrating. Then the next day our water wasn’t working and didn’t come on again until lunch time, which was quite challenging with having a young family along. Apparently a pipe burst and most of the property was impacted. Lastly, one of the days the pool was closed. All in all we had a nice stay but the property management needs some improvement.

Favorite place to stay!!
We are a family of 6 with kids aging from 16 to 3 and this was the perfect condo for us! Very clean and spacious! The in room washer/dryer are perfect for getting everything washed through out the week! We will definitely be staying here again! :)

Amazing place!
I loved the location of this condo! The staff was amazing and the owners made sure everything was good to go for us. Checking in was a smooth process, any questions I had the staff was sure to answer. I highly recommend staying here and we will most certainly keep this place as our go to when we visit Destin Beach again.

Terrible response to hazards in the unit.
I will unfortunately start with the bad. The condo back door handle was partially broken off and had a sharp piece of metal hanging from the door which I videoed and photographed. My wife got a deep gash in her hand from it. We contacted the property owner and they deferred to maintenance who came and removed the handle and we had no security nor a way of using the door for the rest of the trip. This made our bedroom the only access to the balcony the entire trip as the simple task of replacing a handle which was available at Home Depot could not be done. There were 4 main elevators and 2 of them were not operational during half of our stay. We had to carry our stuff up 6 stories during our trip as the elevators at times took up to 45 minutes to come. It was ridiculous, again no valuable response they just again referred us to maintenance who is to say the least lethargic and not concerned. The condo had a single non stick pan that was missing large parts of the Teflon which is not safe for cooking. Simply $10 for the junk pan that was supplied and you could have one that is safe to use. The big plus obviously is the location. However VRBO, The Pelican and the owners of this condo have done nothing to make things right. I documented the injuries and a subsequent medical visit as well as the fact they never bothered to replace the door handle just remove it and leave a piece of tape where it once was. VRBO is to say the least subpar

Good times
This was our first visit to the Destin area. We had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, pans, and cooking utensils. There was even an electric griddle! We were a bit unlucky in that we happen to visit during a fairly large maintenance project. The host did reach out and apologize for the disruption to our stay. We will be back to visit again.

Great Vacation!
The location, the property, the area, the weather all was great! A few things to note- there were not any "pay-it-forward" items such baggies, salt and pepper etc. The light above the stove isn't working and the floors need to be washed better. These things in no way shaped or impacted our stay in this condo. Extra blankets for the beds, kids toys for the beach, a fan are just some of the extras that made this condo a great place to stay! The check-in and check out process was so easy, communication with owners was made supper easy. Great place- we will be back!

The property is nice and clean enough. Balcony is large and does give an ocean view however it is a side view and you cannot see sunrise or sunset. The pools are excellent with many chairs we never went without a chair and it was a busy week. The beach situation is a different story 2 chairs and 1 umbrella are expensive for a week and that's for 3rd row back beachfront footprint is about 25 % of what is needed for a 300 plus room resort that seems to be mostly rentals. Elevator near room worked about 50 percent of the time and according to worker that was not unusual. Tiki bar by pool is nice and people were friendly Enjoyed our time but would not stay there again as sitting and staring at the ocean all day was my main goal and that was hard to do with 3 rows of beach chairs in front of me. Company operating beach chair rental told me that condo owners buy the first row up every year and if the owner of your unit doesn't buy for the year you can under no circumstances get front row rental.

It was our first visit to Destin. We love the area we stayed in. Close to everything we did. The condo overlooked the pool area and a picture perfect view of the ocean. We are definitely coming back.

We loved our stay here. Beds were comfortable. Furniture was comfortable. Great location. Loved the suggestion for Pancakery - my husband and I agreed those were the best omelets we’ve had in a while. One thing to note, this is a wrist band property. If you have family staying in Destin at a different location, they will not be able to join you here. You only get 6 wrist bands. We just ended up meeting our family down the beach so it wasn’t a big deal. Would definitely stay again.

Condo was good, location was great. The only negative experience was that there we no canopies allowed behind the rented chairs on the beach and there were an excess of rented chairs not in use completely blocking all view of the ocean from the beach until 5 pm every day.

This charming condo was exactly as described. Loved the convenience, location, and all amenities! This was my first time back to this resort since the early 2000’s. It was better than I remember, and I loved being able to introduce my daughter to some of the things I did with my family growing up.

The staff at check in was horrible and very unfriendly. Didn’t get to check in till much later than 4pm. BUT with that aside, the owners of the property that I communicated with were great, attentive and very helpful. Condo was nice and cute. Property was very family friendly and fun. Love Destin
The place was nice and we enjoyed it! There was a few things that we didn't care for...the check in was not the greatest. Our room wasn't ready at check in time and after a 10 hour drive it sucks not being able to get somewhere to relax. Then the lady at desk forgot to give me the info to get in the room so after getting the call almost 2 hours later that it was ready I had to go wait 15 mins in line to get the info I should of been given the first time around. The other thing was the chairs and umbrellas for guest to rent at the beach blocked the whole view of the ocean. The chairs were booked so there wasn't an option to even try to get somewhere to see the view. We did get to enjoy the beach after around 4 and the chairs were put up though. My family did have lots of fun and we made lats of memories and that is really all that matters!

Destin 2022
This was our first trip to Destin and we loved it! Great view from the condo and the balcony was stocked with all we needed. My nephew loved all the pools and we loved easy access to the beach. We saw dolphins from the balcony on our last day. We weren’t huge fans of all of the beach chairs set up and traffic getting out of the resort was difficult at times, but this wasnt the fault of this specific condo. Beach chairs were put away by 5 pm which was nice to enjoy evenings on the beach. The cafe downstairs was also super convenient and they sell beach supplies as well! Thanks for the amazing trip!
