Hotels on the River in Cumbria

Great hotel. Staff all lovely. Great cocktail Bar overlooking the lake which also does food. On site restaurant mizumi is excellent. Great atmosphere. It was nice to have an evening where we didn’t need to leave the hotel. The only points for improvement would be the bathroom could do with modernising and having a walk in shower and the superior room we had could have done with a set of drawers as we felt this was lacking. That being said we would definitely book again. We had a great visit

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool was fantastic for children and open from 7-7. A lovely touch to have a child’s welcome pack. The duck food was a lovely idea too and our daughter really enjoyed it. A great base to explore with the aquarium, steam boat and steam train on the doorstep. About to 10-20mins from other shops.
