Nakhon Ratchasima Province stays as unique as you are

Accommodation In Nakhon Ratchasima Province\n

Nakorn Ratchasrima is the gateway to north eastern Thailand, which is in the region known as Issan. The city is also known by the common name of Korat, and sits 260km from Bangkok. The primary industry is agriculture, but Korat has been inhabited for thousands of years so you can also see the ruins of many fantastic temples. Come and marvel at the fascinating traditions, charming hospitality and splendid natural scenery that make this part of Thailand amazing. All you need to do is book a Nakorn Ratchasrima hotel and you can enjoy it all for yourself, so wot are you waiting for?

Take in the natural beauty at Khao Yai, Thailand's oldest national park. Here you'll find excellent trails and hikes to enjoy the forest and animals up close, as well as waterfalls for excellent photos and a quick swim. Visit the ruins that are scattered around the province, and don't miss the site of Amphoe Phimai which is an ancient provincial capital and has impressive ruins of a Khmer temple. Amphoe Sung Noen is another historical site where you can spend many hours wandering through the ancient architecture.

Nakorn Ratchasrima is famous for silk weaving, so head to Pak Thong Chai and browse through the cloth, handicrafts and the Dan Kwian clay pottery products on sale. Nearby Wat Phayap is a fantastic temple crafted using saved stalactites, stalagmites and unique rocks that were saved by the abbot from a beautiful cave when it was being blasted to create a quarry. Don't miss the monument to Thao Suranari, who was the wife of the city's assistant governor and is a local legend. She organized a prisoner revolt against their Lao captors and retook the city in 1826, so check out her shrine that sits in front of Chumphon Gate, which is also the only original gate still standing - the other three are all replicas.

Get your fill of ancient Khmer and Ayutthaya-period artefacts in the Maha Wirawong National Museum, which is an interesting little attraction often missed by tourists. Head to Farm Chokchai for an entertainment-themed farming experience, where you can milk the cows, play with cute animals in a petting zoo or see a thrilling cowboy show.

Come and visit Nakorn Ratchasrima on your next holiday. There's no better place in Thailand for a peaceful vacation with plenty of attractions to have you enjoying every day.
