Our bed was very comfortable. The front desk employee was not friendly during our interactions. Our window shade was broken which let in the light from the always busy expressway. We requested the shade be fixed twice, to no avail. Maintenance came once, but the shade was not fixed. We did not have hot water for baths or showers. We also requested this be fixed and it was not. The hot tub was broken which was the sole reason that we chose this hotel because my spouse has Rheumatoid Arthritis and travel leaves her in an incredible amount of pain. The hot tub was key. In the absence of the hot tub, a hot bath would have worked but the water in the bathtub would not get hot and was also broken. In email, the GM offered to refund one night of our six-night stay. When we mentioned it to the front desk as we were checking out, she was once again unfriendly and not helpful. As we drove away, the GM called and denied offering to comp one night but finally acquiesced and said he would agree to comp one night of our stay. I was here for very important meetings and thought I could rely on this hotel for a stress-free stay. That is not what we experienced.
