Overall it was a good stay in a good location. A major issue was that we were not notified that the elevator was not in service. We had already checked in with our baggage cart full, standing at the elevator when we seen the sign. Neither of the 2 staff at checking advised us of the elevator situation. This is very poor customer service, No message to inform us the elevator was out of service during our online check in as well. The elevator was never working during our stay.
We were messaged by the hotel to inform us of our request for adjoining rooms that we requested at the time of booking, but could not be accommodated. The front desk staff at checkin and checkout did not seem to be concerned about the elevator. This situation should have been rectified immediately!
Both mornings of our stay the clerk at the front desk was very rude and cranky.
Another smaller issue was the toaster in the breakfast room, it had to be unplugged at each use to get the toast out because the toast fell to the bottom. Surely such a simple appliance should have a back up.
