Ed was very kind and helpful. His communication is great. The location is amazing. The only issue would be parking. There is a location were you can park in the garage but off the street parking is metered. Otherwise the house is clean with lots of space for a group stay. The check-in process is simple. Ed is very clear about expectations. I would book this location again.

Great Conference stay
We had our Annual Conference at the Huntington Place and looked for a place close by that could accommodate our staff and provide a space to hang out and gather that was not a hotel room. This place was perfect for that. It was a little far away from the center, but it was walkable and provided the perfect space to meet and hang out at night. We will plan to stay here again any time we return to this area.

Great place right downtown!
I was pleasantly surprised on how modern this historic building was. I was a little nervous about being august and the AC not working in all areas of the house. Boy, was I wrong….it worked great. Location was key for us and I won’t stay anywhere else in the future, if I need to be downtown. Ed was great and very responsive.. recommend this place to anyone.

We came to town from Minnesota for 2 nights of Twins -Tigers baseball games. The place worked out great for us as it was a short walk to the stadium and public transportation. Everyone enjoyed the place and location. A bit noisy on the weekend but such is a downtown stay most anywhere.

This property was perfectly located if you are attending any venue in the area. We were able to walk to our destinations and avoid driving and spending extra money on parking. The house was clean and well lit. Felt very secure at this location. Rooftop patio was spacious and outdoor lighting set the ambiance. The parking lots around the property have surveillance but recommend parking structure for overnight parking, cheaper. Sunday nights do allow overnight parking in front of building for free until 7am. The parking lots in the area are very busy after dark, street noise, traffic, loitering, just fyi. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

Really great place
A fantastic historic property right downtown. Beautifully decorated with some ornate touches, very comfortable and enjoyable. The others in our party used the four bedrooms and I slept in the bunk bed which was very comfortable. Walked to the Tigers game and back, walked over to the river. Parked on the street in front of the house (metered, paid). Complimentary coffee, soft drinks, cold water were a nice touch. Great outdoor patio. Clear and easy entry instructions. We had little time there other than to lay our heads, we wish we'd had more. And we wished the walls could talk, I'm sure they'd have some stories to tell. Thank you Ed!

Great location close to all events and venues. We went for NFL draft. Within 4 minute walk to Campus Martius and Hart Plaza and riverfront. 7 TO 8 min walk to Greektown. Felt very safe.

Clean, beautiful, and well-appointed building, ample bedrooms, and comfortable common areas. Was a short walk to the arena and a few minutes walk from entertainment, food, and stores. Will definitely look here first the next time we're in town.
