Too much money for the poor conditions. It’s winter and no heat for both days I stayed. Finally had heat late the second night, but could not control heat and it just ran all night. Bathroom light turns off when you shower as the motion sensor can’t detect you. Hot water comes and goes. Advised management of the issues after the first night, but nothing was done. Had to call front desk after I returned for my second day without heat. Save money and stay elsewhere.

Wonderful.
Very nice place. The front desk team were wonderful, and helpful. Our room was nice and all the public spaces were clean. The on-site restaurants were great. There is a lot of dining options around this hotel and is quite walkable.

The concierge was unwelcoming and unfriendly. When we received our room keys and went upstairs, we found out someone else was already in the room and we unintentionally frightened the occupant inside! When we went back down the the desk to get new keys and inform staff of the situation, they apologized and offered us a bottle of water. Literally never experienced something like that and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of concern for the experience we had with the staff. The room itself was nice enough, overall cleanliness was good and the valet/ doorman were the most personable people we interacted with. Because of the horrible check in experience everything else was soured though. I understand mistakes happen but this seemed like a big one and even when I mentioned it at check out, the concierge seemed shocked when I told her what happened.

I don’t usually write reviews, but my check-in experience here was frustrating. Despite Expedia stating I could pay at the property, the hotel pre-authorized my card before arrival. When the authorization didn’t go through, they canceled my reservation without calling or giving me a chance to resolve the issue. At check-in (11:30pm), my reservation was still active in the Expedia app, and an Expedia representative even contacted the hotel to confirm it. Despite this, they refused to honor the reservation. It honestly felt like a price-gouging tactic, forcing guests to pay more upon arrival. Another guest in the lobby overheard our situation and shared similar frustrations about their check-in experience. The next morning, I spoke with the “manager,” Kelli, who was unapproachable and rigid—qualities unsuited for hospitality. She gave me $40 off my stay, but her adherence to strict policies over customer service was disappointing. I’ll say the bar and restaurant service was nice and met expectations, but the front desk needs some improvement. Starting with Kelli and that dumb policy. They never honored the Expedia rate, and I had to pay more than I originally negotiated. I stayed two nights due to my friend’s event at the property but moved to Hotel Indigo for the rest of the week, which was a much better experience. In the future, I’ll prioritize spending my money at establishments that truly value and accommodate their guests. The Godfrey won’t be seeing me again!

I really enjoyed this property however, the valet service was HORRIBLE! I waited for more than 40 minutes and then was dismissed when I went to inquire with a manager. This propriety requires valet given the location of the hotel. Please do better!!
