It was good central location for the Detroit experience: DIA, Historical Society, Tigers Baseball, and great jazz music at Cliffs Bells. I would hope the coffee service was better and consistent. Espresso was served in a paper cup not glass. The room was clean and comfortable though a bit small. The bathroom was very tidy.

The lobby & rooms are beautifully & uniquely appointed. The restaurant has a wonderful menu. There are multiple bars for entertainment purposes. Easy to walk around downtown Detroit.

our check in was two hours late because of a housekeeping shortage - I definitely understand that sometimes the unexpected happens, but there wasn’t an estimate about when the room would be ready and it would have been nice if we got comped a drink at the bar or something, but no comp.
