This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. Very dirty, outdated and really just gross. Yes there are limited hotels by the Detroit airport and I am not sure anything else would have been better. We paid over $120 for a night when it was At best a $50 a night hotel. Take my advice and drive away from the airport hotels if you can.

This hotel was just what we needed during the crowdstrike flight fiasco. The staff at the front desk were so kind and helpful when we had to book another room the next night for a late arrival and shuttle for our son who was arriving after a canceled flight the day before. They made sure he got to the hotel no matter when his flight arrived to accommodate him.

When we checked in, the computer system was down so they could only take cash. Then, we got to our room and the toilet didn’t flush. It was fine for a place to sleep after a late flight, but overall not the best hotel experience.

Horrible shuttle
The shuttle to the hotel was very late in picking us up. Took well over 30 minutes and they are basically a mile away. Very disappointed in their shuttle service.

My flight was cancelled at night so, I have to book a night, this was the only hotel with rooms available near the airport. Location was convenient because it was close to the airport, but the hotel is in bad condition, the bathroom was very dirty. I do not recommend it at least is an emergency like mine.

Instead of running credit card for $100 hold for incidentals. Front desk scanned pictures of credit card and drivers license into computer. When I complained about this practice, I was told that this is how they protect themselves. When I asked who had access to those pictures, basically all hotel employees. So if you want all your private info available to Detroit, have a nice stay!!!
