The room is out of date. Carpet was soaked from the air conditioning running with a mildew smell. Carpet is fraying in a lot of place and paint peeling all over the wall, mainly in the bathroom. Not a comfortable stay.

I don’t like that the front desk tells you if you want to extend your stay just come down to the front desk and let a front desk clerk no that you want to extend your stay.Well this didn’t happened to me thank god I didn’t plan on extending my stay like I planned. But while I was there a lady waiting in line went to the front desk to extend her stay and that she was told that the people overnight told her to come to the front desk before checkout time. Well the lady came down before checkout time to exstend her stay but the front desk clerk told her sorry it’s the weekend I can’t extend the stay. The customer was mad and then I told the lady they told me the same thing the night before but thank god I didn’t extend it. I feel the hotel should not tell people to come down before check out to extend their stay if they want and then don’t let them because they can lose business for false advertisement.

The photos on the web are not at all representative of reality. This hotel may have been nice at some point but has not been maintained. Rooms are dirty (stains and dust everywhere) and very outdated. I would not even sit on the couch. The walls were stained with coffee and juice. The bed only had two sheets on it, so I was freezing all night long. I did ask for a blanket for the second night, and they asked me to come and get one at the front desk. It was a small unsoft thin brown blanket. The room temperature was 79 degrees when I arrived. The AC did work but it took a while. After ONE HOUR wait at the airport for the Shuttle (I had to call 5 times, and they were always telling me the shuttle would be there any minute), we arrived later at night and were hungry. The restaurant is old, empty and very boring with jukebox music. They only served fried appetizers (fries, onion rings, wings, popcorn shrimps, cheeze sticks etc.), which they give you in a styrofoam box in a plastic bag. In other words: "Please don't eat here and leave!" Same with the drinks. Your Gin&Tonic will be served in a plastic cup with a lid! The barmaid was nice, but she was exhausted and wanted to go home. Breakfast was very basic, but OK, considering it is free, I guess. The ambiance is an absolute catastrophe. You can hear the crickets under this hospital-like lighting. It's bad. I would not return to this place and don't recommend it. At all.

It was really good choice to stay for a short period of time . amenities and facilities are convenient. They provide a great breakfast. Coffe, tea and water in the lobby area 24 hours. Nice place inside with indoor pool. Àirport transer 24 hours . And price is amazing for this service. If I visit Detroit again, sure I will come back to this place.

I checked in not aware of $140 cash deposit you pay up front incase of damages. I thought the fee would be applied at the end of your stay if damages do occurs. So I paid for the upfront deposit. I also paid for my hotel stay in full a day before. Staff put me on first floor and I notice a very moist setting in the air, so I asked for the second floor and she changed my room. I went to my room and immediately saw the air conditioner hanging off the wall! I saw cords leading to no place hanging on the ground and I was not going to touch this air conditioner and get electric shock for a unsuitable room for any guest and families. I called 4x waiting on maintenance to come, staff refused to move me to a safe suitable room while maintenance never came. At this point, I'm missing my child's birthday event based on the lack of service to me the customer! I'm just waiting in this hot room like why is this happening. I call front desk last time to see where maintenance man is and to talk to a supervisor on changing rooms that's suitable for a guest. Staff stated there's no supervisor. I said there's no supervisor on-site?? Staff stated no, I then said who's the supervisor a customer can contact inregards to an emergency? Staff gave me Supervisor email, has hung up on me 4x. I told staff I have to leave and I need a safe room to stay in. Staff told me I've been disrespectful and I'm no longer welcome to stay at Wyndham hotel. I was in shock, I called the cops so I may record this!

The manager asked to my sevice abimal to perform tasks when is nor allowed and she told discriminated me and refused to follow the ada guidelines and charged me a pet fee Old and outdated smelly and rude staff

You have to call for the airport shuttle after a certain time (this was 7:30 pm) which was not disclosed anywhere and I only discovered after waiting 30 minutes and seeing other hotel shuttles come and go a second time. I was told I had a ‘new’ room so a larger deposit would be held. I wouldn’t have classified my room as new. Food in the restaurant (aka bar) was mediocre. When I checked in, they told me I was on the first floor near the pool, which was closing at 9:00 pm so it wouldn’t be as noisy as it was then. At 10:20 there were still plenty of children in the pool shouting. All doors are hard to close so slam shut. No hair dryer. And breakfast also was mediocre with only one small coffee urn for the entirety of the hotel.

The property was dated but clean overall. The inside is a really neat atrium concept with the pool in the centre. Rooms on this level and in this area are very noisy and you can hear everything. The staff had their hands full with loud guests and children but that was not their fault. Shuttle is too small for volume and is a bit of a wait
