Didn’t feel safe walking in a dark alley at night to get into the hotel, they cancelled the airport shuttle services while traveling/flying out for the trip, the hotel pictures didn’t look anything like the hotel.

A little off the beaten track, but close enough for us to walk to District 1 attractions, which suited us fine. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable and worked well. There is a mini market just steps away and many street vendors close by. Wifi could have been more consistent, but otherwise happy with our choice and can recommend for those who are OK being a couple of kms from the main attractions.

Grab from airport is about 162k including fees. Hotel a few steps down an alley which cars cannot enter. You will be dropped off on Nguyễn Đình Chiểu street just after Pharmacity (pharmacy). Clean rooms. No hand towels. The room we were in had Kettle, coffee/tea, fridge, TV, hairdryer, iron and board, safe. No blockout curtains in our room. The hotel is across two buildings. Daily housekeeping, however our friends room was cleaned but not ours. Housekeeper said she opened our room but it didn’t require cleaning. Nothing was replenished. Friendly reception. They will set up a passcode for the door so you can enter the building if it’s locked. East to follow. Housekeeper not so friendly. Location is excellent in district 3. Across the street is local Vuon Chuoi Market. Prices were not inflated. We purchased food, durian 65k per kg. Adidas Yeezy slides 140k, mens sports shorts 100k. Nguyễn Thượng Hiền street has lots of restaurants and stalls. Another small wet market off Nguyễn Đình Chiểu street.

My stay was great. I enjoyed the young man that assisted me. I think his name was Tram. He was very nice. I stayed a little over a week and I was very comfortable. The only problem was trying to find it. It' is located in the alley, so I had to drag my bags when Grab dropped me off, but overall, it was a good experience.

Nice clean place with helpful staff
My wife and I stayed here for a week and would stay again. It was very clean and we really liked their food for breakfast (their Vietnamese Pho is great). It is located in D3, but close to D1. So, we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see (markets, walking streets, and war museum). There were many cheap tasty places to eat near by. The staff helped us setup a tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which we enjoyed. They also helped us by explaining where to go to take a bus to our next stop. Another guest told me that he had stayed in several hotels in this area and he stated that this was the best one. NOTE: The hotel does not have an elevator, so you may have to talk up 3 or 4 floors. We didn't mind it. ALSO NOTE: The hotel is located in an alley way too small for cars, so you will need to be dropped off at the front of the alley way (#418 - this number is displayed at the front of the allay way). It is only about a 60 meter walk down the alley to the hotel.

Worth every penny!
I have only great things to say about LeBlanc Saigon. I always felt welcome there, the staff treated me like family. The rooms are always upkept and the hotel is thoroughly clean. Don't be offput by the location, it is still close to the action of district one without being noisy!! I would always come back to this hotel when visiting HCMC and recommend it to any westerner nervous about particular areas. Phuc made us feel welcome and has outstanding knowledge of the city. He is always there to assist you with any questions. Check this place out forsure!!
