Le Pigeonnier is an old barn completely restored in 2014, while retaining the charm of old stones but with modern comfort. Classified 4 stars.
Le Pigeonnier has no close neighbors, very beautiful open view of the countryside exclusively, which allows you to be perfectly peaceful, 2km from the shops.

Add: final cleaning: € 100 (compulsory) and tourist tax (€ 0.88 / day / per adult over 18).

Without any nuisance and with a breathtaking view, this 300m2 house is both very comfortable, by the size of its rooms, its insulation and the quality of its materials: memory foam mattress ... and its equipment (7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 5wc), very spacious, bright, and full of charm: stone walls, travertine floor, oak beams etc ...

The 11x5 m heated swimming pool is tiled, with a 110m² stone terrace and a magnificent view of the countryside.
Surrounded by 1.2 hectares of wooded land, the Pigeonnier can accommodate up to 17 people.

On the ground floor: 1 bedroom and its bathroom, 1 large open kitchen very well equipped, allowing meals to be prepared for all with a table 6 to 8 people, it overlooks the covered terrace with its very large garden table, its BBQ.
1 dining room that can accommodate 16 people seated, 1 very large living room with a giant screen (55-inch 3D TV) and with an American billiards space, a large Jotul wood stove.

Upstairs: 6 bedrooms each with their bathroom (bath or extra flat shower 120x80). The bedrooms are accessible by 2 separate staircases which guarantee their privacy: 3 bedrooms on the left (6 people) and 3 bedrooms on the right (9 people) separated by a very insulating partition. The roof is also very well insulated (trilate and wood) for great comfort.
The 7 bedrooms all have their private bathroom and high-end bedding (160 beds) promises comfortable nights with its new memory foam mattresses.

Le Pigeonnier is 2 km from the village of Pont St Mamet, with its tennis court: we have a subscription (included) for our guests, its mini-market: good bakery, pastry shop, grocery, tobacco, press, etc.
In the vicinity, many ponds for fishermen and many hiking trails at the foot of the house.

The Perfect Stay
Absolutely stunning venue with very accommodating hosts. The pool was clean, the house was immaculate and the outside area was incredible (especially to watch the stars at night). It has everything you need for the perfect holiday with family and friends.

Rural property perfect for groups wanting to relax.
The property is rural which means a silent night and no need to worry about neighbours. The pool is great and is warm enough for kids. The rooms are very well layed out and with plenty of room. The lounge and pool areas is fantastic, especially in rainy days. Which we had a few of. You have easy access to local towns and city's and supermarkets are about 20mins away. Overall it was a perfect location for our 4 families with 7 children and 8 adults.

French country house
Lovely 7 bedroom house in the middle of fabulous countryside. Had all of the amenities we needed. Great pool. Wonderful views. The nearby local shop had virtually everything one needed. Larger supermarkets were an easy 15 minute drive. Bergerac airport around 25 mins away. Laure and Norbert were our hosts and were always available without being intrusive. I would highly recommend for a perfect French family holiday home.

Wonderful Dordogne holiday large villa
We were 9 adults and 2 babies staying for 10 days. We were extremely pleased with the set up of the villa and the large living spaces within and external. The pool is lovely. The external area is very spacious and nicely private with a nice garden and eating area. Laure was an excellent host and very responsive. A great vacation for all in peaceful surroundings, well located in the Dordogne and we would be very happy to return.

Wonderful Stay
Superb location and property for a large family holiday, very peaceful with so much space inside and out. Swimming pool was fantastic plus table tennis, volleyball and a pool table meant there was always something to do, or do nothing and enjoy the views. Large family holiday
13 of us from 70 yr old grandparents to 5 month baby and we all had plenty of space and plenty to do. With Bergerac and Perigueux both 20 minutes away it was just perfect.

Great size house, well equipped, amazing views, plenty of outside space, lovely clean pool. We had a brilliant week ,the only downside was it was not particularly toddler friendly, also renters should be aware that that it is a drive to local amenities.

Stunning property and great hosts
We loved this house and it was just perfect for what we needed in our group. The kitchen had plenty of supplies and the location is outstanding. The house has been maintained to a very high standard and all the bedrooms were lovely. There were lots of games and activities to keep us busy. Worth noting that showers /baths and two of the wcs are not in separate rooms but behind partitions in the bedrooms, which is no problem for couples sharing but just worth bearing in mind for friends! The YouTube videos were great for working out what's in each roon before we travelled. Laure and Norbert were very helpful and great hosts. I would also highly recommend local strawberries, there are lots grown in the area and they are absolutely delicious!

Fabulous house in a wonderful location!!
Laure and Norbert meet you on arrival and as you leave. A very hospitable couple. The house provides excellent accommodation for groups of family and/ or friends with excellent facilities. The views are wonderful and the location very peaceful, but accessible to all of the attractions of the Dordogne.

Beautiful property, well equipped, away from it all, best of all was the pool.
Perfect for a large party. there were 16 of us, with 6 children who were able to play and let off steam in the vast spaces and of course the pool was a big hit. Surroundings tranquil and away from anyone else, so you can't disturb anyone. We played games like tennis, volleyball, cricket, table tennis etc and inside the pool table was used a lot by the adults! Lovely bedrooms, so nice to have your very own shower and space to relax on your own, as well as plenty of areas for shady siestas and a quiet read. We enjoyed being able to all eat together as there is ample space, we played cards and board games a lot. Brilliant fun. The owners were charming and very helpful. The pool was so lovely and clean, which is often a let down at rental properties. The water was kept sparkling at all times, so whatever they do to keep it that way, it's perfect and we felt that our children were very safe in the pool all the time. Plenty of things to do nearby if you can tear yourself away from the house for a bit. The Dordogne river is just one of many beautiful resources in the area. Very highly recommended.

Fantastic house - paradise
We had a wonderful week at the beginning of July 2016. The weather was incredible and the house even better. It is very well equipped with lots of different seating areas so great for large groups. The pool is beautiful and a few metres from the house so you can make noise without being heard in the house which was great in the evening. The house really is nicely secluded. You can only see other houses in the far distance and you are not overlooked at all. Perfect for noisy families. Even though it is secluded villamblard is only a 5-10 mi drive away and is very sweet with patisserie and cafe. Bergerac is only 15-20 mins away. It is really easy to get to places from here as one of the main roads is not too far. Beautiful country walks all around the house which we enjoyed. The only reasons I haven't marked as 5 stars is that there are not toilets in every room which can be awkward when you have different families sharing. Also the wifi didn't work most of the time and it is only a hotspot not full wifi so not good enough if you need to work or do anything complicated. We did find communication slow with the hosts. Although they were very nice. Would recommend this house and we would love to come back again

Une semaine en famille
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine au Pigeonnier avec toute notre famille (10 adultes et 5 enfants). La maison est très agréable, avec de grandes pièces à vivre pour que tout le monde se sente à l'aise et puisse avoir sa place. Les équipements sont à la hauteur et en nombre tres suffisant pour les grands groupes. Les extérieurs sont tout aussi accueillant et permettent d'en profiter pleinement. En conclusion: calme, confort et convivialité. Un grand merci à Laure et Norbert pour leur accueil, leur écoute et leur bienveillance.

nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans une maison qui a été parfaite pour nos besoins les hôtes sont très accueillants et très cools nous étions 12 vétérans dans une habitation très spacieuse avec un endroit pour les repas bien conçu, site très au calme, nécessitant des moyens de locomotion . car un peu éloigné de tous les sites du Périgord merci encore à Marie Laure et Norbert car un peu à l'écart

Superbe maison de vacances dans un endroit splendide
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine entre amis au Pigeonnier. L’intérieur de la maison, spacieux et décoré avec goût était très agréable (notamment les vastes chambres avec chacune leurs salles de bains privatives). L’extérieur de la maison est somptueux, en pleine nature avec aucun voisin à proximité ! Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Séjour tres agreable en famille dans un cadre génial
Très beau séjour dans le Pigeonnier. Le cadre est magnifique, perdu dans la nature et dominant toute la campagne et les bois ; l'intérieur très agréable grâce à de belles pièces bien distribuées et bien entretenus avec une déco sympa. Terrasse au top pour nos repas de famille, le grand jardin permet à chacun de profiter de ses activités (piscine, volley, pétanque, molky, ping pong, lecture, etc ...) Un séjour inoubliable !

Magnifique séjour au Pigeonnier
Avec un groupe de 15 amis, nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au Pigeonnier. Tout d'abord, Laure et Norbert sont deux personnes merveilleuses qui nous ont donné un accueil très chaleureux. Nous avons communiqué bien à l'avance et à notre arrivée, ils nous ont fait une visite complète du domaine. La maison elle-même est parfaite pour un groupe d'amis. La cuisine et le salon sont entièrement équipés, les chambres sont très propres. Le jardin est immense. La piscine est à la température idéale et il y a beaucoup de place pour les activités sportives. Nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer Laure et Norbert plusieurs fois et à chaque fois ils nous ont donné de nouveaux conseils sur la région et les promenades à faire. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre voyage et Le Pigeonnier nous manquera beaucoup. Ce fut une expérience inoubliable et nous reviendrons certainement. Merci encore à Laure et Norbert !

Superbe séjour entre amis
Maison parfaitement adaptée pour un grand groupe avec ses 7 chambres toutes équipées d’une salle de bain. Nous étions 5 couples avec de jeunes enfants. Beaucoup d’espace, très propre, chambres de bonnes tailles avec lits confortables, rénovation de qualité et décoré avec goût. Piscine agréable et sécurisée avec barrière. Grand jardin, belle vue sur la campagne et calme absolu. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et disponibles en cas de besoin.

Super séjour dans une villa très agréable, parfaitement configurée et équipée
Cette villa et son environnement sont parfaits pour des vacances en famille nombreuse. Le cadre est très agréable et permet à chacun, jeunes et moins jeunes, d'avoir des activités communes mais aussi de trouver des moments de calme quand d'autres prennent plaisir à s'agiter sans aucun risque de se gêner ou de gêner des voisins. La situation très isolée apporte une grande tranquillité tout en ayant à portée (# 1 heure de route) de nombreuses visites, châteaux, jardins, sites préhistoriques , descentes en kayak ou canoë ..... Sans oublier le ravitaillement facile au proxi de Pont-Saint-Mamet à 5 minutes de voiture ainsi que l'excellent traiteur "Robert" de Vergt (15 minutes). Pour finir des hôtes sympatiques et réactifs font de cette villa un super lieu de vacances.
