The staff were amazing! They treated me very well the whole stay there! Also on my final night, had issues with a room, they immediately made it right. I also want to add while waiting for my check to hit on my final night stay, I really appreciate them for not kicking me out. I’m not from Detroit so I had no other place to go. So let me sit in the lobby to wait. Overall, very good experience. Would love to come back!

Pass on this location
My stay at this Comfort Inn location fell short of expectations. The lobby was impeccably maintained, while the staff we encountered were courteous. However, the room required thorough deep cleaning and renovation. Notably, the carpet and curtains were damaged, the jetted tub was stained, and the furniture was compromised, with a stained chair and loose office chair. Moreover, excessive noise from the adjacent guest room persisted until 3am, disrupting our peace. Given our brief interaction with the facilities, I would not recommend or revisit this location.

It took a while to get someone at the front desk. The shower head barely put out any water and it was a small stream. We used the shuttle and the driver was incredibly rude. He snapped at me when I asked him for the phone number to call for a pickup. He cursed several times on the way.

It was very nice, we had connecting rooms, our room was small but it worked for what we needed since it was just for us to get ready and sleep in. No smell in our room but the connecting room did smell funky like old man but not the worst, it was clean in the rooms, the halls smelled, but not as bad as what I was expecting from the other reviews. The food was good. The location of the hotel was great. Parking was awesome, felt secure. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were so kind and welcoming. In conclusion, don’t let the other reviews scare you away, the smells are tolerable and not bad. It’s not like a resort so don’t expect that but the people are so nice and sweet, and it’s a simple place to rest your head. I would stay again if visiting Detroit and needed a place to stay.

We booked this hotel specifically to stay the night after a Lions game. I was there with my 9 year old son and based on reviews, I figured it wasn't going to be the greatest but still decent. We got into our room and were greeted by the smell of stale smoke. The smoke alarm battery door was open, and the battery was gone so it was chirping away. We got the battery and replaced that so that was fine. In the morning, we went down to check out the breakfast area. There was nothing in the steamers, coffee containers were completely empty and the orange juice and apple juice were spitting out water and not juice. It wasn't even super busy, but regardless we ended up packing up and heading out to eat somewhere else. Overall, it was an ok spot to stay for the night, especially if you're with buddies. I don't know if I'd recommend it for younger kids.

Our stay was okay, we weren't in our room very much. I think the price was a little too high give the neighborhood and a few other factors. You could tell that people were smoking weed, it smelled like that in our room in the evening. It was also a little noisy late at night, we could hear people talking for a bit.

This hotel was convenient for the stay we wanted. Plenty parking and felt safe. The staff is pleasant. Their breakfast is very good that is included with the stay. Other than being a little outdated, it was good overall.

Very nice man at check in. But, I had cause to call the front desk 5X during stay and nobody answered and I went to voicemail. Room was dirty and faced the parking lot on the ground floor which had loud people arguing right outside my window on a Friday night. I did not feel safe.
