Room was very clean. Loved that it was very quiet. Made it more enjoyable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Convenient parking if youre not doing valet. Literally everything is walkable from the hotel from food to shopping. (Even walked to the Alamo) The Ambler at the hotel was fantastic. Had the brisket nachos and wow! So very delicious. Large, large portion for the price, so very worth it. Will def book here again for future stays. Highly recommend

Property is beautiful and clean. The staff is amazing. I had issues with my reservation and I wasn’t feeling well and a bit irritated but the front desk lady went out of her way and really took care of me and my family and that’s why I’ll come back.

I like the suits, rooms are spacious, clean, big windows, something is not well maintained, nothing to worry. I like the ascensor with a transparent glass window. Bar and restaurant. Amenities as mariachis on Friday o Saturdays. It’s in the River Walk, near to Villita and other attractions, it’s my second time to be a guest. I definitely recommend this hotel. See the Contessa picture! It’s wonderful!

We arrived early, we have stayed here in the past and have never had a problem with check in, even a little early..So our room wasn’t ready, that was fine, but at 4:00, sitting in the lobby, watching numerous people check in and get their room…I got a little impatient. I was told that our level of room, and the price we paid, we would have to wait. So apparently booking through a 3rd party expect to wait. The hotel is older, but the rooms are spacious and was very clean. The location in the river is great, very walkable to everything. Breakfast one morning in the Ambler, again we have been before..the food is good, but the service was very slow. We sat at the bar for drinks two evenings and the staff was excellent, Michael at the bar was very friendly and sweet.

The location was prime for the Day of the Dead festivities, the hotel was festive and seemed to try to create a welcoming environment for visitors. An area for improvement is housekeeping, we did not get regular housekeeping services, even though the do not disturb key was not on the door. Staff at the bar did not communicate how a kitchen changeover occurred at 2pm, would lead to a delay in food ordered at 1:30, upfront communication would help especially when you are hungry! Overall, would go back and hope these little issues are ironed out.
