Nice hotel
Staff was wonderful, had an issue with my credit card and it was fixed within the hour. Breakfast area was clean and food was pretty good too. We enjoyed our room and the view, only downside being a small bathroom.

The hotel is dated but kept up very well. Access to the hotel from the street was clear and parking is located conveniently close considering it is in the heart of the city. The room wasn’t very big but served its purpose of shower and sleep. There some nice bars around for a drink and bites. Union square and the SF troller are within walking distance. Staff was very courteous.

We compared several hotels at this price point for weeks, and I am glad we chose this hotel. We enjoyed our 5-day stay. The room we had was a little outdated, but it was clean. The location was convenient as it's just 2 blocks away from Union Square. We felt safe walking even with our 1 year old son. Transportation is easily accessible from the property as well. They served good breakfast daily which was one of the main reasons why we booked this hotel. The parking garage that they work with is just a block away, and from my comparison of parking prices, it was one of the cheapest at about $50 per night with in-and-out privileges. Kudos to the staff who worked when we were there. The maintenance ladies were nice and they cleaned our room well every 2 days. The front desk staff were all helpful, polite, courteous, and warm. We definitely enjoyed our SFO trip!

Great old style building and very convenietly located for riding the cable cars around town. There were also some great options close by for drinks and eats. My only conplaint was that the breakfast was a bit lacking.

Nice old hotel in a very walkable part of town. The room was clean and spacious enough. Staff was very friendly. The area was a bit noisy with street traffic and people, so keep the windows closed or bring earplugs. Hotel was safe, it's a few blocks up from union square (the sketchy part of town). Free breakfast was nice. I would recommend this hotel for the price.

Arrived hotel drenched at 230pm. Was told C/Kin at 3pm. No empathy from staff despite he saw we were wet from the rain. Returned at 305pm and was told to wait for a while as changing shift. Totally unprofessional. Thereafter we were finally called for registration and throughout the process he was music humming away. unprofessional and rude, We knew the size of the room and is a vintage property which is fine by us. The room assigned to us the mattress was sagging, deep indentation and lumpy. Saving grace is the complimentary Bfast. There are properties which are nearer to Union Square and Powell Station within the same price range and you can avoid the steep hill to Vintage Hotel.
