The staff were great; check-in and check-out were quick and simple. The room was average; it was much smaller than I was expecting and it was cold in the bathroom (Dec stay), which had a large, single-pane window IN the shower. Cleanliness was okay, but the building and room are showing their age (thin carpet, creaky floors). The price was good, considering the major events that were happening then.

We stayed at Moda hotel for 5 nights. This hotel is conveniently located in downtown. We felt safe at any time of the day/evening. We enountered a small issue with heating, but this was remedied with immediate front desk solution with options of changing rooms. The pleasant staff anywhere in the hotel was a refreshing experience. We would recommend this budget hotel for it's location and value.
