Comfy beds & pool, perfect base for Skioton
Booked standard 2 single beds. Didn’t want to end up with normal double bed. Small room but adequate, very comfy beds, clean, carpets and bathroom refurbished. Hotel slightly dated but not tatty, perfectly fine as a base for exploring lovely Skipton. Great to have use of pool included.

We didn’t actually stay, we checked in after a long wait at the desk, but when we saw the room we checked straight back out again. The room was disgusting, carpet all stained and dirty, terrible smell of stale fat from the restaurant, only a hand held shower, no wall bracket, and a view of a skip out of the window. We did take pictures before leaving to find an alternative hotel.

Nice hotel right on the canal were lots of boats pass and plenty of ducks. Hotel room was very hot as with the rest of the hotel this was because of the fire doors we were told. Only ate breakfast but everything was there juices,cereals hot food etc. A nice outdoor patio for a drink.Bar prices were normal hotel prices,not to bad.There are bus stops right outside so easy to get around, although we never done it Skipton is a 1 mile walk along the canal.

Super value for money-large family room, which was very clean. Comfy bed. Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice and food was fresh. Used pool, which was great-changing area clean. Good location for getting around by car. Canal path at back for walking into town.

Location was ok. Nice vote to the rear and regular bus service into Skipton right outside. However, initial room was filthy and generally worn out. All walls were dirty. The bed was in very poor state with fraying fabric on the base. The head board and wall above was disgustingly dirty. The staff however were helpful and moved us to another room. That room was an improvement but far from perfect.
