Lovely place, located close enough to Dublin to allow catching a local bus for day visits and the return journey drops you off right at the hotel. Good bar food (we didn’t try the restaurant), superb breakfast selection at hotel. Friendly staff. Small bathroom for our room but strong shower, comfortable bed, very good tv and family friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was good and we loved listening to the waterfall at night. The local bar below the rooms had ann Irish dance class while we were there with live music, it was cool to listen to and watch.

Unfortunately although the room is spacious and good parking room was very close to motorway and the noise is an issue. However, if you keep the windows closed then the noise isn’t bad. For us it was hot day and had to keep windows open. Wasn’t a good night for us!!

Construction starts at 10pm… Really?
Arrived on early evening, from the outside it looked beautiful. Front desk ladies were pleasant. After falling asleep, that’s when it took a turn for the worst. My room was next to the kitchen, which closed at 9pm, and at 10 pm is when the drilling and banging started. It kept up for several hours, 12:45 was the last of the drilling, that I rememberd hearing. Obviously it woke when it started earlier. When I brought it up in the morning, I got “yes, we had a bit of work being”. Needless to say that was the “apology” I got! Guess I should have gone down at 12am and raised hell, but I was tired from my kind day and eventually fell asleep again. I mean I reall only lost like 2 - 3 hours of sleep won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Sad for my first taste of Ireland.
