Boothenba Cottage features ducted heating & cooling throughout the home, including in all four bedrooms. A wood fireplace has also been appointed to the living area. All areas except for bedroom 4 and the kitchen are equipped with ceiling fans. Electric blankets are featured in bedrooms 1 & 2.

Fireplace & Firepit: This property has a fireplace & firepit that you are more than welcome to use if you wish. Instructions are provided in the Welcome Book in the home and also in your check in details closer to your arrival. Firewood is not provided, however, there are several local providers or you can message us ahead of time and we can help you organise to have some available when you arrive.

Nice getaway
I like to be as accurate as possible - Older style home on the outside but nicely renovated inside. Access via a short dirt driveway. Nice, tidy gardens and outside furnished nicely for areas to relax in. Listing as described, a couple of minor things need fixing, like the bathroom handrail. Beds were super comfortable and interior furnishings were very nice. Extras such as puzzles and books were a treat for entertainment. Plentiful toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, laundry supplies etc were appreciated.Overall a beautiful, quiet area that was quite homey and nice to relax in. quiet little hideaway cottage

Our stay for 3 combined families—— totally 10 people was great. Our only complaint was there was only ONE toilet!!!! And this was in the main bathroom. This was quite taxing at times——- especially with a teenager in tow. To appreciate the true country farm style an outdoor loo would have been a godsend & a good learning experience for the younger kids. Other than that——- FANTASTIC!!! Beautiful & warm; very well appointed; great beds, linen, towels etc.
