My sister and I stayed at the Skylon for three nights. Lovely, clean hotel. Staff were great helping with directions, providing information. Arranging taxi booking. Entertainment and food, cocktails at the hotel, just great! We both would recommend and definitely stay at the Skylon again.

Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay. Located next to restaurants and pubs. The bus system was easy to figure out. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you do not want to be in the tourist zone or heart of the city this is a great place to stay. Also, it is right next to DCU.

Guests are noisy at night when passing through corridor, got interrupted sleep at 2.00am then 3 am then 4 am. There should be a sign saying please be quiet after 10 pm.

Had an awful experience with a filthy room and terrible reception staff who were rude to my face. The whole situation with trying to get our room changed as there was graffiti on the wall, stains on the bed, floor and walls, dust hanging off radiators and off the ceiling, left me in tears as the female manager and reception staff were outright rude and treated us like it was our fault. Housekeeping and a male manager the following day tried to do their best to sort the situation out - but we repeatedly had issues with the same reception staff. Would not recommend this place if you value your mental health and physical health - since they think it’s ok to have such gross rooms.

Our room stay in the Skylon was as usual very good. One problem was on our first morning Thursday there was dreadful noise outside our room. My husband checked and found workmen going to do work just outside our window. I went to reception to see if they could do anything for us they were extremely helpful and moved us straight away.
