The check in/out staff were nice. The property is beautiful and the rooms are nice and clean ; however, they are definitely not sound proof which is why the hotel is receiving a poor rating. First, if you have a room that faces the cobblestone street the traffic noise it is loud. However, while bothersome it is expected in a city. But it was the all night partying of the people in the rooms around us that was really the issue. The room right next door started partying at 10:30 pm and continued until past 5 Am. We asked them to please be quiet and the said they would. Then we complained to the front desk and were assured it would stop and it did not. People were coming in and out of the room all night long, slamming doors and making noise. This clear would had been observed by the many cameras in the hallway. The hotel did nothing to stop it. Nor have I received any follow up from management regarding my noise complaint. Consequently, on our last night in Dublin we experienced the worst sleep ever in a hotel. I am not so sure this is a one off issue for this hotel.

Everything about the stain was perfect. It’s in a great area for shopping and to access all the sites. The hotel seems brand new and everything was very clean. I loved the big towels in the bathroom and the automatic lights and curtain closing. The bath products were also very nice and the breakfast is delicious! I highly recommend it if it’s included in your stay. Mine was in the buffet was fantastic full of healthy options and very well-maintained. The coffee and lobby bar are perfect. Everyone who worked there is friendly and helpful and kind.

The CHANCERY was a great city hotel, not large but well centered in downtown Dublin. Food in the bar was ok but not spectacular. The room was lovely and staff were helpful, although the cab to the airport didn’t arrive and we had to make sure the staff arranged another cab. Nevertheless, we got to the airport in plenty of time.

Our stay at the Chancery was by far one of the best in all my travel experiences. Their staff were very friendly. A special thank-you to Oscar at the front desk who gave us great recommendations and made our experience special. He is warm, friendly and is great at his job. This hotel is only 6 months old and its such a beautiful high end hotel, very clean, high tech, comfortable with spacious rooms. Their wellness center is beautiful too with a sauna, steam room and gym. Chancery is in a great location and is a few minutes away from pubs, stores and major attractions. It was the best decision we made in terms of hotels. I would recommend this hotel to everybody. Thank-you for a great stay and experience. If we visit the city again, we will definitely stay at the Chancery.

The Chancery boutique hotel is a perfect base to explore downtown Dublin. It’s tucked away on a quiet and safe side street but only a 5-10 minute walk to countless restaurants and stores, not to mention the Dublin Castle and a fascinating art museum right around the corner that is well worth visiting. Our room was modern and attractively designed and the king bed was extremely comfortable (we slept quite soundly). Great espresso in the bar. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful, especially Francesco. The rain shower was awesome. Only downside was the automatic door for the bathroom which opens at unexpected times—tricky to use. The spa downstairs was pretty nice, with a great steam room, although we wished we could figure out how to make the hot tub warmer. Overall a lovely stay for 3 nights—highly recommended!
