Just wish we had more time to stay here! Beautifu!
This a beautiful hotel with an amazing view!! The breakfast was great! Make sure and make time to swim in the sea and take time to relax on the beautiful grounds. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the bus stop that takes you to the Walled City. So convenient!

Last day Dubrovnik
Mirna was excellent at reception, very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful view from our room of the grounds and sea. Would have appreciated an elevator to get to our room with luggage as we'd just walked the Dubrovnik wall and a total of 52 flights of stairs! Breakfast had a lot of variety and was tasty.

The Hotel Splendid is in a very nice area in Lapad. The grounds are very well maintained and have beautiful views of the bay. The bus stop to Dubrovnik old town is just across the street and bus #4 runs every 15/20 minutes. The breakfast was plentiful. The room we stayed on the first floor was very small. It is a quick walk from the Promenade with several restaurants to choose from.When we come back to Dubrovnik we most likely will stay there again. We might pick a better room option.

Everything was good. But my check in experience was a bit unpleasant. The receptionist, some guy, was extremely rude and impatient with me when I was trying to find my passport. Mind you I didn’t look for more than 1 minute and I was the only person there…. He was tapping his fingers on the counter, and raised his voice at me asking for “any other form of ID”?? Idk. Just put me off. The rest of the staff was amazing and kind, just that 1 guy was awful. My room was pretty perfect other than the fact that my bathroom did not smell like anything other than sewage the whole time - even with the window open and fan going. So keep these things in mind before staying here!

Great location overlooking the ocean. Nice beach and swimming area. Close to bus stop for Old Town and close to small shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms need upgrading and the breakfast is ordinary.
