My family and I enjoyed the location of this property as we attended the Animartime Con. We also had a mid-day snack at The Joyce located at the Crowne and received amazing service and wonderful craft beer. However, we were put in a room with no windows, no control over the thermostat (the room was cold) and the toilet gurgled all night. In fairness, the staff adjusted our thermostat when asked and they had a pipe in the basement that had burst that caused air to get into the lines. We have stayed at other properties in our travels at a lesser price, which had more bang for our dollar than this experience.

Lots of little issues contributed to a less than pleasant experience. Advertised amenities like the EV charger and even an ATM at the hotel were all not available or broken. Ceilings are very low in the hallways, some exit signs would hit my head if I wasn't paying attention (6'2"). Bathroom had what looked like mold on the tiles around the tub, the tub itself was badly worn and had what looked like rust stains and tons of scratches, the sink was cracked, missing trim around the shower head (hole in the wall) and the shower head came to my chin. We had a river view room, but out view was mainly of a flat roof with utilities installed on it. The location is great, and most of the staff (except for the reception) we're excellent and friendly.

The staff was amazingly kind, quick to respond and professional. Unfortunately they put me one door from the side entrance and the indoor pool. All evening and into the night there was yelling around the pool, by the door and down the hallway. My room was exceptional dark as well.

The front desk staff were so lovely, kind and helpful. The property is dated and run down, and seems to be in need of some major renovations. Carpets in the hallways are dirty as well as the walls and doorways. We wouldn’t stay here another time

our room window was a covered window as it was the swimming pool on the other side. so was no fresh air - just aircon at 20. it would be good if they could sell mini fresh milk cartons in the little shop. Overall great experience. lovely restaurants inside hotel - great food and everything is walking distance away.

Room was big and very clean. Also gave us a buffet breakfast in the morning that was excellent. Easy parking and close to everything that we needed to be by.
