Historic Stay
The mansion is beautiful on the inside. Everything was as stayed. Very tasty muffins for breakfast. Loved walking through the house. Wish we spent time for the history tour. Would definitely stay again!

Recommendations to add to the room
1 missing window shade, tissues, coffee filters for the coffee maker. Good location for getting around to area activities, good bed, and quiet for sleeping.

Stay at the Cotton Mansion in Duluth, MN
We stayed in the Mary & Josephine Suite, and wish we had more time to just sit, relax, and just enjoy the history of the building. Chess boards, SO MANY classic books, rocking chairs, porches, huge jetted tub, and all of the amenities! We will be back again.

Kid free overnight stay
Great location and looks just like the photos. A ton of history and wonderful walk around the area looking at local homes. We had a great stay! Only disclaimer (for those not tall or very flexible) is the tub being hip level. To get in and out you have to step up and down off or onto a large ledge that may or may not be wet. A step stool or small stair case would help.

Lovely Suite
The Mary & Josephine Suite was lovely and suited my needs for the three days I was in town. My only negative comment is that the tub/shower is very challenging to access. It's very high off the ground and climbing in and out felt very precarious, and I'm a tall person! My tall 16-year-old also felt the same. I would not recommend this suite for elderly people.

Amazing stay
Beautiful property, staff was fantastic. We had some issues with the tv (user error) and the staff was kind, patient, and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend staying here over the other “basic” hotels!

Great get away.
It was a great place. Just a few notes to be aware of. The entry was all ice coming down the driveway. It made it very difficult to walk down to the door. Elderly people would have a terrible time getting in. Shower curtain rod kept falling down. It needs to be fixed.

Beautiful home
I loved this property- just beautiful. I thought the stay was very impersonal though. I never saw a single employee in or at the home my entire stay so it seemed odd to stay in a " house" and have it be that impersonal. No phone in the room either which I found unusual but I had my cell so not an issue for me. I was just glad that I brought my charger 🙂
