Pearl Cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage circa 1928, on the Camden Haven River in Dunbogan.
Set back from the road and overlooking the stunning Camden Haven River with views of North Brother Mountain. Everything about Pearl Cottage is about unwinding and indulging in the natural surrounds. The gardens are tropical and well established which attracts many species of birdlife. The cottage has been thoughtfully and tastefully renovated by the owner who is a local artist giving the place a point of difference you may appreciate.
The cottage has a full-size kitchen, a bathroom with double showers overlooking a private garden. It sleeps two in the Queen Size bedroom and has a smaller room at the back which sleeps one. An extra toilet can be found outside in the laundry which has a dryer and two washing machines.
***Champagne and Chocolates will be waiting upon your arrival, as well as complimentary coffee vouchers for use at The Boatshed.***
Sit back and relax by the pool whilst listening to the mass of birdsong which make the abundance of trees on the property their home. Enjoy a drink by the outside fire and seating area during the winter months whilst you watch the sun going down over the river and North Brother Mountain.
The cottage faces north/east, providing temperate climate conditions all year round. In the living area there is an electric fireplace as well as an air-conditioning unit. A fan in the bedroom provides an extra breeze if needed on the warmer nights. The entire front of the cottage can be opened to let the cool river breezes in.
Just minutes to many surrounding beaches, enjoy the local Dunbogan Boatshed for breakfast/lunch or a coffee and feed the fish which is just a 2-minute walk on the river pathway. Three doors away is the newly renovated and licensed fish and chip shop and general store. Dunbogan forms part of the 15km walking/biking pathway called the āBeach to Beach Pathwayā making it easy to enjoy the local beaches and cafes without having to drive. A15-20min walk along the picturesque pathway will bring you into the local shopping strip of Laurieton ā it has many shops, including Coles, a pub, local cafes and a service station.
