Nestled just a stone's throw from the enchanting Broughty Ferry beach, 'At The River' is a charming Scottish cottage named after the iconic Groove Armada song. This artistic retreat features hidden pieces of artwork inspired by the song, adding a unique touch to the property's cosy ambiance.

Imagine this: after a delightful day exploring local shops, catching up with friends, and enjoying drinks in Broughty Ferry, you savor the famous ice cream from Visocchi's Cafe. You then find yourself strolling barefoot along the sandy shoreline, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the waves. As you approach a pristine white-walled seaside cottage, the warm glow of house lights gently illuminates the pebble stone garden path.


'At The River' is a newly refurbished gem in the heart of Broughty Ferry, Dundee. The refurbishment of this cottage was a labour of love, with meticulous attention to detail to create one of the most stylish and comfortable retreats in Scotland. Every corner of this home boasts something special, from its carefully curated decor to the concealed drawings of Broughty Ferry's landmarks, expertly hand-drawn by a local artist.

Stayed 4 nights in this delightful wee peaceful cottage with our small dog. Lovely clean and fresh and well equipped with everything you need! Broughty Ferry is a great town, beautiful beach, lots of shops to browse and fab pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a chilled few days.

Lovely solo stay
A lovely house for a solo bit of R&R. The house is really close to the beach, which is beautiful: a long stretch of sand, well frequented by walkers but always quiet enough for some peace. The high street is also within a short walk. The house has lots of space for one, with the beautiful bath being a real highlight for relaxation. Comfy bed too.

Staying at the River was delightful for us as a family with fairly young (5 and 6) kids. The playground is nearby and Broughty Ferry is a nice and cozy town. We really liked the home and its location.
