Our two bedroom Ferringway condominium is clean, tastefully updated and just minutes to downtown Durango. Making this condo unique in the Ferringway complex is the minimal number of stairs leading up to the front door (only 9), the condo is all on one level, and it has a second private deck.

AMENITIES: The Ferringway Townhomes offers a shared hot tub and heated swimming pool for guest use. The pool deck has plenty of room for lounging, as well as multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space without having to leave the grounds.  There is easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. THE POOL IS OPEN APPX MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND.

LOCATION: Ferringway is just a 5-minuts drive to historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment.   Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes you to Purgatory Ski Resort and the high San Juan Mountains.  Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West.  Hillcrest Golf Club is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango townhome at Ferringway is a great place to stay!

We had some trouble getting them to answer us prior to us arriving. We had to send multiple texts. The walls are thinner so be prepared it depends who is in the unit above. The unit was super clean and exactly like the pictures on the listing. Just was a little frustrated that the communication wasn’t answered until two or three messages later. but we received many emails/texts about checking out. Felt lack of feeling personal, and they pushed to get us out.The first night there was a big party in the complex so we woke up at 3:00am to kids drinking outside the window.

This property is not only gorgeous and comfortable, it is nearly about everything. It was so comfortable and convenient. Quiet and peaceful. We have stayed in quite a few VRBOs, and this one was furnished with everything you would need. The only one thing that was not included was a Keurig coffee pot. I can’t stand my husband’s strong coffee, and he says mine is too weak 😖. I think anyone would be pleased with this place.

When we arrived someone else was in the condo we had reserved, how they were able to check in is a mystery to me, I must say I am a bit concerned about the check in process and the security of the information provided.

Birthday in the mountains
Had a great bday trip with my son and his fiancé. Condo was so nice inside. Don’t be fooled by the outside which does not have a lot of curb appeal. I do wish the condo had more info on how to use the temperature controls and the fireplace. Other than that the house is fully stocked with anything you might need. I would definitely stay there again.

The property was great. Great location to downtown Durango. Loved Durango. Toured Mesa Verde National Park, did some snowmobiling at Molas Pass, checked out all the shops in Durango, finally ended a great week at the Durango Hot Springs Resort and Spa. Absolutely awesome way to finish a great week.

Condo was beautiful and clean. Loved the location! Close to town and trails. Only downside was the hot tub was not working. I contacted the property manager who said they would look into it and didn’t hear back. We needed the hot tub after a day at Purgatory!

Wonderful home!
We loved our stay! We came for a ski trip and it was exactly 30 minutes to Purgatory ski resort. On our "off day" we went to Pagosa Springs to enjoy the hot springs! The floorplan was perfect for our family of 5, with 3 kids. The master bed was so comfortable! The decor, updates, and kitchen setup/ appliances was so nice and had everything we needed plus some. We only ate out once in 5 nights, the kitchen and eating area were great! The only thing I would bring if I came again was some spices from home, ie cinnamon, etc. Parking was always accessible right out front, which helped in getting tired skiiers in for the evening or unloading groceries. The living room was a nice setup to relax and watch movies as well. I even used the small desk in the 2nd bedroom to get some morning work done before heading out. Thank you for opening your home to us!
